Off-tank Champion Concept - Dolly, the Hivemind
#Lore Dolly is one of the many people in runeterra who pledges an allegience to no one. instead, she prefers to keep to herselves.
#Laning Skirmish Tank. this was inspired by this post. similar to Ekko, dolly focuses heavily on mobility, however her tanking comes from reducing damage by making... herself take it?
#Moveset
##Passive: All for one / One for all
All for one: All kills made by dolly's bodies give dolly full gold and experience. Dolly takes reduced damage from area of effect abilities based on the number of bodies nearby (to prevent instantly being melted by area of effect abilities
One for all: All of Dolly's existing bodies must be present at the fountain to recieve its healing and mana generation effects, or to buy items. All of dolly's bodies are destroyed on her death.
Clones -
have individual health based on either Dolly's HP or Dolly's AP
are individually effected by CC
deal a severely reduced amount of dolly's damage
do not move for than a short distance away from where they were created if unmanned
do not apply life steal
apply 40% of the damage done to them to dolly's health.
##Q - Cover the rear
Create a clone and send it towards the targeted direction. enemies struck take a low amount of damage and are stunned
this will have a relatively standard cooldown
this will cost a low percentage of health.
#W - I'll hold them off
create a clone and then dash a short distance away from it. this clone stuns enemies within a short distance of it for a short period of time and deals a relatively low amount of damage.
this move would also have a relatively standard cooldown and cost a low percentage of health
##E - Teamwork
create a clone beside dolly. both dolly and the body attack, dealing a fair amount of damage. dolly then gains a small amount of movement speed in a burst.
following the trend, this would have a small cooldown and cost a small amount of percent health
##R - Likeminded
passively be able to have out 2 clones aside from the body you currently control. this number increases with her ult for a maximum of five clones at level 16. Dolly starts with her ult, but can not activate the AOE burst until the first rank has been applied at level 6
active:
tapping the r button instantly puts you in control of the closest clone nearby, making it the original dolly
holding r brings up a dial similar to the ping dial. moving your mouse diagonally in any direction will make you swap with the coresponding clone. moving to the side will make you either kill all of your clones or bring them to your location in a burst stun.
Dolly is what we call an "off tank."
she focuses less on taking large amounts of damage and more on avoiding them.
