I propose changing the mastery emote.
Instead of just flashing the level 5 sigil, please overlay it with the player's mastery score for that champion.
That way, your 400k mastery point ADC can set himself apart from the enemy team's 40k mastery ADC.
Champion mastery means exactly nothing....Take for instance, me...I have a lvl 4 mastery in Garen....and that will soon turn into lvl 5....but i actually COMPLETELY suck at Garen....since i usually play supports...I just play Garen sometimes when the support role is taken... So do I deserve that mastery? No...i just play him a lot...thats all it means...Maybe the 400k mastery ADC simply thinks hes the best and just plays nothing other then that champion...
Flashing masteries, like Candurill said, means nothing...just means that you played lots of games with that champion...doesn't mean you're good at them. Plus not to mention no one likes a toxic, jerk of an opponent that constantly flashes their masteries....that's not good sportsmanlike conduct and I wish riot actually punished people for constantly spamming it as it IS harassment and unsportsman like conduct.
Downvoted because I think it's such a bad idea and will make toxic players even more so by saying "hey look at me I've played X amount of games".
Best feeling in the world: completely destroying your opponent in lane even though they are so sure they are better then you and keeps flashing masteries
Necro: Remove all emotes. Remove the taunt, joke, laugh, and champ mastery emote, and remove all chat. Worldwide Toxicity reduced 50% (you still have your own team to deal with and mute as you please).
