(Champion Concept) Pla'Sma - The Void Cannibal
2016-02-28: Changed some numbers on abilities.
Artwork done by this guy or girl.
This is an idea i got about void parasite who, after reaching maturity, changes into entire different creature, but still can return into more primal form, if needed.
#Abilities
~~ ~~
Passive: Nearly Harmless While out of combat, your abilities provide some beneficial effects. Any actions, excluding dealing damage to enemies, will not cause you to enter combat. While out of combat, you heal 0.2 / 0.3 / 0.4% of your maximum health every second.
Passive: Positively Harmful Deal 15% more damage when attacking enemies who are showing their backs to you.
With these passive, i want to put a theme of champion, who looks like a harmful friendly creature, yet still being secretly dangerous. Also, don't overlook part about combat avoidance. Even if you take damage, you don't enter combat. You enter combat only by dealing damage, so you can control when you want to rid off you passives and commit to combat.
Q: Cleansing/ Disintegrating Goo Shoot goo at your target. If you targeted a friendly champion, then cleanse his wounds from bacteria, healing him for 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 / 12% (+ 1% per 45 of AP) of his missing health. If you target an enemy champion, then infect him with dangerous bacteria, dealing 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 (+ 40% of AP) magic damage to him instantly and 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 (+ 20% of AP) magic damage over 6 seconds.
Passive: enemies attacking you in melee range, while you are out of combat, suffers 4 / 8 / 12 / 16 / 20 (+ 5% of AP) magic damage per basic attack.
| Range: 580 | | Mana cost: 40 / 46 / 52 / 58 / 64 | | Cooldown: 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 seconds |
Lets start how it works with bonus damage passive. Only Direct damage can get 15% increase, damage over time effect will not be increased from using this ability on enemy, who is showing his back. Passive damage works only on basic attacks and only in melee range. Even is range enemies attack you, if they are in melee range, they will take damage.
W: Wild Echo Release a sound wave. This wave can bounce out of structures and walls, gaining 300 bonus range per bounce, up to 1000 bonus range. Friendly champions hit by this sound wave get their movement speed increased by 15 / 17 / 19 / 21 / 23% (+ 1% per 20 of AP) for 4 seconds. Enemy champions hit by this sound wave get their movement speed reduced by 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18% (+ 1% per 30 of AP) for 4 seconds. These effects can stack up to 2 times on any target.
| Base range: 700 | | Mana cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 | | Cooldown: 14 seconds |
Not very wide, but still should be pretty hard to evade without high mobility. Aiming correctly, you could hit same target multiple times. Also, because this ability does no damage, you don't enter combat by hitting an enemy with this ability. Maximum range this ability can travel is 1700.
E: Enter The Combat Grow up poisonous spikes on your hands for 6 seconds. While affected by this ability, your basic attacks deals 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 (+ 10% of AP) bonus magic damage over 5 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. Your first basic attack stuns your target for 1 / 1.15 / 1.3 / 1.45 / 1.6 seconds.
Passive: increase your movement speed by 8 / 9 / 10 / 11 / 12% while you are out of combat.
| Mana cost: 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 | | Cooldown: 16 seconds |
When you really need to participate to battle, this is ability is for that. Pretty simple ability. Active this ability and your basic attacks infect enemies with damage over time effect, which can stack.
R: Devolve Devolve into more vicious and hostile form for 6 seconds. While in this form, your out-of-combat passives get disabled. While in this form, you gain bonus stats to commit to fights more.
Bonus basic attack range: 50 Bonus ability power: 50 / 75 / 100 True damage per basic attack: 20 / 30 / 40 (+ 5% of AP) Bonus attack speed: 40% Bonus health: 300 / 400 / 500 Bonus armor and magic resist: 10 / 15 / 20
| Mana cost: 90 / 100 / 110 | | Cooldown: 80 seconds |
While this champion is support, does healing and can CC a bit, it can go full damage mode when needed. I know some people will say that this does not fit whole kit, but i think it does. This is support, who looks harmless most of the time, but when needed, it could become a real monster.
#Story
~~ ~~ In the void, where are certain bacteria based life form, which strives on disintegrating dead flesh of voidborns, living in colonies. This life form isn't much developed and wide spread. Usually, it is quite hard to find them, because they are miniature and it is hard for them to survive in the void. These little creatures evolve slowly in the void, usually get nearly wiped out by one or another voidborn, however, thought one of void portals one of these little guys ended up in Valoran. http://www.labtjenester.no/multimedia/99/giardia.jpg
In this world, their life showed much more potential. Natives of Valoran had no immunity to them, thus allowing these parasites to infect living creatures of Valoran. Infecting, killing, consuming and evolving. By consuming living creatures, these void parasites borrows their DNA, adding it to their own, mutating and evolving extremely fast, until sentient form started to appear, transforming and maturing in bodies of other creatures, then emerging into the world.
The first one to emerge, and now mostly matured one, Pla'Sma was first and maybe the last of his kind to fully mature. Like all other voidborns, he has unquenchable hunger for something, but his hunger is a bit quite different. He hungers for flesh of other voidborsn and especially of his own kind. Little parasites, larvae and even smaller voidborns of his kind, are what he seeks out and eat up. Nevertheless, his hunger doesn't end there. He seeks out other voidborns, pretending to be harmless and weak, closing on them slowly, and when the time is right, he attacks other voidborns, killing them and devouring their remains. Vicious cannibal, yet he is nearly harmless to people of Valoran, unless provoked. He doesn't attack non-voidborns, don't eat them and acts generally friendly towards them, unless provoked. Something like a intelligent (about 80 - 90 IQ) wild creature, who eats and hunts only his own kind.
Voidborns aren't a especially big problem in Valoran, if you disregard the cult of the void, but learning about this new creature and his special ability to locate other voidborns, two individuals sought out him: Malzahar - to destroy Pla'Sma, because he viewed him as a dangerous threat; Kassadin - to require Pla'Sma, because he could help out him in his cause.
