#Percy, The Wild Painter:

#Lore Overview:

Renown for his various works across Valoran, Percy aspires to both create great works of art, and explore the world. Wherever Percy may be, you can be assured that he will have his brush ready, and be surrounded by some commotion of sort.

(As always, art is by me)

#Dialogue:

Upon Selection- “The world’s a blank canvas. LET’S FIX THAT!” Attacking: “Red looks good on you.” “Take that! And that!” “A little color doesn’t hurt, usually.” “Too blue to be true!” “Yel-lose.”

Movement: “W-wa, wait for me!” “Outta the way, talent coming through!” “C’mon c’mon c’mon!” “So many things to paint, so little time!” “Am I going the right way?” “Uh-this way? Well, why not.” “Now now, you can’t rush perfection.” “Don’t. Rush. Me.”

Ability use: Q:

  • ”Blue with-uh, something other than ENVY!”
  • “Ker-SPLAT!”
  • “Cloudy with a chance of, BLUE!” W: “Zzzzooooommmm!” “Yellow there! And there!” “Charge!” “Incoming!” E: “Ba BOOM!” “AHHH! There’s-PAINT EVERYWHERE!” “R-r-red!” “Primer and KABLOOSH!” R: “Pay no attention to me!” “I blend in seamlessly! Well, almost.” "Ssshh, gotta be quiet."

When Mana is at Zero, or too low to cast an ability normally: “What’s the point of this? There’s no color!” “Desperate times call for desperate shades.” “Shades. 50 of em’.” “Oh, how I miss my color!” “Black and white. Minus the white.”

Taunt: Paints a line on the ground, and readies himself to “charge”, but falls back laughing instead. “Calm down there, wouldn’t want you to have a-STROKE!” “Don’t you DARE cross that line, or I’m gonna-HA! You should’ve seen your face!”

Joke- Hold his brush up to his mouth like its a microphone, and struts back and forth. “I came in like a-!” Coughs “Ugh, not my kind of art.” “So the yordle said to the snap-trap,” Coughs “Is this thing on?” Laugh: Percy throws his head back a bit, then rubs his nose. -snorts “hehe” -“Haha,” snorts , “hahaha.” -“hehe” clears his throat

Dance- Percy does a traditional irish tap dance, occasionally spinning around in a circle while twirling his brush.

#Stats

Health: 445 (+84 per level) Health regen: 5.5 (+0.65 per level) Mana: 280 (+60 per level) Mana Regen: 6.5 (+ 0.52 per level) Attack Range: 550 Attack Damage: 43 (+2.5 per level) Attack Speed: 0.625 (+2.27% per level) Armor: 16 (+3.5 per level) Magic Resist: 30 (+0) Movement Speed: 350

#Abilities

Passive: Inspiration! After getting a kill, assist, or destroying an enemy structure/turret, Percy’s abilities will have no cost for the next 2.5 seconds. Additionally, all of Percy’s abilities leave behind paint. Paint will fade after 3 seconds, but can be refreshed if Percy casts another ability. If Percy has no mana, he may still cast abilities, but scaling damage will not apply and no paint will be left behind.

Q: Kabluey! Percy flings a blob of paint at a target location, dealing magic damage (+0.9 AP) if an enemy is present. Kabluey will create a blob of paint on a target location, or split into four if it hits an enemy. Percy can walk over blue blue paint to recover a percentage of his missing mana. Enemies which step on Percy’s blue paint will destroy it, but have their magic resistance lowered by 15% for 2.5/3/3.5/4/4.5 seconds. If enemies are still present, the paint will continue to split up to 3 times. Cost: 40/60/80/120/140 mana Range: 850 Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds

W: Stroke of Yellow Percy slides along a path, leaving a trail of yellow paint behind him and knocking enemies aside. If an enemy is directly in front of him, Percy will knock them back and deal magic damage (+0.55 AP), but terrain will stop Percy. Allies can follow Percy’s trail of yellow paint by walking onto one end of the path, and will travel to the other end. Cost: 85/100/115/130/145 mana Range: 700 Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds

E: Red Splatter Percy twirls and flings paint around him in a circle, dealing magic damage (+0.75 AP), knocking away enemies in all directions by a short distance, and leaving behind red paint. Red paint will launch an ally through the air in the direction they were traveling. If an enemy steps into it, the red paint will explode and knock them into the air for 0.5 seconds. Cost: 45/70/95/120/145 mana Range: 350 ==> 600 Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds

R: Blend Percy uses all of the colors, and paints a disguise on himself over the course of 0.5 seconds, causing him to blend in to his surroundings (stealth) for up to 10 seconds. Percy may then recast during the duration to shoot forth his coat of paint as a skill shot, dealing significant magic damage(+0.8 AP) (+X% of Current Mana). Attacking an enemy while disguised will not immediately cancel stealth, but reveal an outline of Percy. Percy's attacks while disguised will fling off parts of his disguise, dealing bonus magic damage with his abilities/auto attacks, but lowering the duration of Blend. Cost: 160/240/300 mana Range: Self/700 Cooldown: 270/180/90 seconds

#Overview:

Percy is a bursty mobile mage who thrives on good positioning and set up. By use of his paint, Percy can strike down an enemy quick, or set him and his team up for the engage. Here's an idea of what the various parts of his kit can be used for:

Passive: Similar to Jinx's "Get Excited!", when Percy takes down (or helps take down) an enemy champion or structure, Percy can keep the damage up and follow through with a barrage of abilities. The most notable ability to benefit from this would be "Kabluey!", which when free and with low cooldown can be used to hammer in some serious strikes. This also helps with closing in on additional targets, as you can use a W-E combo to close just about any gap when chasing down a target.

Q: Kabluey! is Percy's main damage output, as well as his main resource for sustaining himself through blobs of blue paint which give him mana back. By hitting a target in the center of a crowd, Percy can have Kabluey! split up and deal damage to a group of enemy champions or minions clumped together, making it a decent farming tool. When playing against Percy, try to dodge his Q and let your minions take the reduced magic damage if you can.

W: Stroke of Yellow acts as a nice gap closer or engage ability in an aggressive situation, or a good escape ability in others. Percy can also use his W to get his team either all in, or safely back everyone out. However, when used improperly, Percy can suffer greatly. By aiming his dash at terrain, Percy will be forced back to his start position, technically moving him twice the distance. But this only works with Percy. His allies will simply collide with the piece of terrain and be able to move freely afterwards. When playing against Percy, you can maneuver yourself around his path or attack him during his travel while he's vulnerable.

E: Red Splatter is effectively Percy's most diversified ability, being able to handle a variety of uses. When initially setting up his E, Percy can knock back enemies within 350 units of him back an additional 250 units, buying him some time or disorienting the enemy. If you're playing against Percy, you can easily avoid this by keeping your distance when he has Red Splatter available. As useful as a knock back is, the after effect of red paint is incredibly useful for getting Percy and allies around the map. By positioning his red paint strategically, Percy can set himself up for masterful engages and escapes, especially when combo'd with his W.

R: Blend serves as a nice re-positioning and execute tool, but has a slight variety to use as well. Organizing your positioning and strikes will serve to better the efficiency of the ability, maximizing your damage output between your recast skill shot, and empowered attacks from Blend. When playing against Percy, watch out for when Percy reveals himself, because if you can hit Percy, you should be able to follow up and kill him, unless he's able to get away. Watch out for his disengage pieces. And if you see paint disappearing randomly after you seen a Percy stealth, he may be closer than you think.

Percy works well with champions like:

Blitzcrank , The Steam Golem

Gragas , The Rabble Rouser

Renekton , The Butcher of the Sands

Pantheon , The Artisan of War

Maokai , The Twisted Treant

Percy struggles against champions like:

Malzahar , Prophet of the Void

Lux , Lady of Luminosity

Jax , The Grandmaster of Arms

Shen , The Eye of Twilight

Galio , The Sentinel's Sorrow

On another note, how do you insert an image into the original post? I keep using that paperclip icon and inserting an image from my computer but it never actually uploads when I create the thread.
