Karthus E rework to give him more utility and skill machanics
I think do to the season 4 changes that reduced the amount of ap damage you could build and the increased availability of magic resist; I would like to see him gain more utility with his E.

Karthus can be easily bursted down mid game by other champ and has now why to passively restore health to keep the pressure up mid game with out snagging kills from other lanes.

Karthus can no longer get 1450 ap and lacks utility. I believe he needs a boost. His ult used to do 70% now it dose 60 and the wall no longer gives 35 magic pen at max level only 15. You can only get 1070 ap with 35 bonus ap from masties and runes. he has low health and is relient on his q that is mana dependent. His E with blue buff will take your mana to zero in no time and he has low sustain in the early game. He is good but compere him to champs with heals and magic resist like and he is found lack in utility.
Yes has a global ult 250, 400, 550 +60% ap with a long cool down (That that was increased to 160 from 120)and his Q only dose base level adc damage (40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 (+ 30% AP))unless you hit a sing target (120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 60% AP)).
1070 ap 20%= 214 30%= 321 60%= 642 200 ap 20%= 40 30%= 60 60%= 120
His aoe is also week (30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 =20%) and as a pasive only give you mana on kills. 48 at max level you use 88 each Q max. So if Karthus farms and is able to keep his distance he can sustain but is reliant on teem support in using his ult and if the team is doing really well he may never get to us his ult to any effect. Just like the wall that dose no damage.
Karthus is missing something to make up for certain falls in the mid game. So I would like the to add a stacking passive to defiled. Passive each kill give you a stack, max 5, each stack gives 1,2,3,4,5 per cent spell vamp Active when toggle on defiled he gets bonus % of ability power to all abilities you toggle off defile. You then loose all stacks and you loose all stacks at the end of death defied.
I think this would be a nice revamp to an old champ and would allow him to return to the pro seen. I would help to prevent early game magic resist shut down and help give karthus back some damage. I would increase his skill cap suitability and would not make him over powered. with max stacks and having defiled on you can have 55%/75% Q 55% E and 75% R This could be redused to only 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4 Q. I know the ult seems op but late game if it doesn't kill someone life steel usually negate the damage.
I would also like to see 2,4,6,8,5 spellvamp per-stack and 1,2,3,4,5% bonus ap to all ablities. Since you only gain stackes when defile is toggled off and loos all stacks when toggled from on to off, this max for a fun mechanic.
I also think the wall should give passive magic resist that you loos when you us it and you get it back after cool down but that might be a bit much
You gain life to negate burst damage and you deal bonus damage wile defile is on with stacks so it give you the ability to also prevent turret dives when at full stacks but makes you weaker after you have used defile and have to farm the stacks back with out using defile. After change Max stack 200ap change lv 1-5 Wall 5%=10 10%=20 15%=30 25%=50 Defile 25%=50 30%=60 35%=70 40%=80 45%=90 Lay waist 35%=70 40%=80 45%=90 50%=10 55%=110 Lay Waist single target and ult 65%=130 70%=140 75%=150 80%=160 85%=170

Keep magic resist in mind and the fact that other champs can all ways do this Wile Karthus would have to build up stacks first toggle defile on then be able to do this damage wile defile is on reducing his mana and he will do less damage with less stacks and have the same base damage as above with no stacks.
I love playing as Karthus a champ that has almost been around sins alfa I just think he needs this buff sins he can't do the same damage as in season 3 or 2 or 1.
