Yzag: The Inept

Yzag is a Goblin Mage that functions as a tank, due to terrible use of spells.

Yzag is a small but very muscular goblin, wearing a wizard hat. This picture looks very little like him but the internet has very little pictures of very small, wizard hat wearing, muscly goblins (probably for a good reason).

Lore Blurb

The man that would become Yzag was a human mage in Zaun, and a terrible one at that. Embarrassing his friends and family with his terrible use of magic, the mage went from one neighborhood to the next, never seeing any progress. One day a scientist who seemed to do what pleased, offered the mage an experimental cocktail of magical chemicals, meant to make one more attuned with their magic selves (Or so the scientist claimed). Eager for any improvement, the mage took the offer. Almost instantly the mage became the creature Yzag, his body strong but small. His magic though, was unimproved, if not worse, and his intellect almost immediately began failing him. Looking for revenge and a cure, Yzag sought out the scientist. First he went northward and promptly fell into the ocean. Unperturbed, Yzag headed east, falling into the ocean again. Having forgotten what exactly he was doing, Yzag headed west and by chance stumbled upon the League of Legends. He joined in hopes of finding a cure or at the very least improving his magical abilities. Unfortunately, Yzag forgot these reasons almost immediately and has made little progress on either goal.

Abilities

Passive: Spell Envy

Every Enemy Spell cast within 700 Units of Yzag, increases his Health AND Mana Regen by 5/7/9/11 (Upgrades at 7/11/15) a second, for 5 seconds. Multiple spell casts refresh the passive, rather than stacking it.

Q: Spell of Cleansing

Mana: 85 Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 Range: 500 Skillshot

Passive: Auto Attacks by Yzag on enemy champs reduce the Cooldown of Spell of Cleansing by 1 second.

Yzag attempts to remove debuffs. Yzag sends a bolt of energy that explodes on the first target hit, including minions, in a small 150 AOE. All enemies caught in this AOE are Stunned/Slowed/Silenced/Blinded/Snared for 1.25 seconds and are dealt 65/95/115/135/155 (+0.3 AP) Magic Damage.

W: Spell of Fireball

Mana: 60/70/80/90/100 Cooldown: 15 seconds Self Cast

Yzag attempts to cast a fireball on his enemies. Yzag bursts into flames, revealing himself to the enemy team and being dealt 12% of his Max Health in True Damage over 5 seconds.

During these 5 seconds, Yzag takes 13/19/24/29/35% reduced damage from enemies and his auto attacks burn his targets dealing 20/25/30/35/40 (+0.4 AP) (+2% Yzag's Max Health) per strike.

E: Spell of Slowing

Mana: 80/100/115/140/160/ Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 Seconds Self Cast

Yzag attempts to slow his enemies. Yzag gains 20/27/34/40/45% Movespeed and 40% Attack Speed for 6 seconds. Champions, Enemy and friendly, moving towards Yzag, gain 20% Movespeed.

R: Spell of Teleport

Mana: 100/150/200 Cooldown: 140/110/90 Range: 1000 Single Target

Yzag attempts to Teleport to target enemy champion. The targeted enemy champion explodes, dealing 150/250/325 (0.7 AP) in a 700 AOE. The targeted champion is flung 1500 Units AWAY from Yzag, Yzag then blinks to the location of the explosion. (Think of it as a SUPER Alistar Headbutt)

Strategy Yzag is a Solo Lane OR Support Tank in a lane with a magelike support. He excels at engaging once he has his ultimate, as well as providing steady damage and cc. Yzag's solo lane is rather rough, while he does have regen that can really hamper some champs, burst completely negates it. His W is very punishing to himself in the early game and he has a severe lack of burst. However, once Yzag enters Teamfights, he has very good sustained damage as long as some of his allies have CC to help supplement his. Coupled with his dynamic engage, that can push a tank away from his front line, or through a sneak attack, push an enemy champ into Ygaz's team he can change the dynamic of an entire game. He excels with Attack Speed and Health, not the easiest itemization, part of his balance. Support Yzag's takes advantage of his passive as well as his lack of early game damage but presence of reliable cc, however, without gold, Yzag can struggle surviving in team fights.

This is my third Champion Concept and probably the one that has made me laugh the most, I'm very happy with the flavor, though i'm unsure if it translates into fun. My Second Champion Concept can be found here.

Feedback welcome, and post your concepts as well, I'll read and comment on them! Since Riot stole my Void Shark idea, I'm still brainstorming.
