Riot read this! It’s important! Big theory

So we all know that Ornn, Volibear, Anivia and The Seal Sister are siblings. We know that Ornn and Volibear are rival brothers who have extreme power beyond any other known entities of Runeterra aside from Aurelian sol. Ornn literally maintains the core temperature of Runeterra, preventing the planet from going cataclysmic. Volibear controls the sky, maintains weather and atmospheric stability. Anivia is the buffer between the two and serves as the cycle between death and birth and rebirth.

I have two theories today.

First theory involves the connection between the Freljord and Shurima and mount targon. My theory is that Ornn was the weapon smith for all the weapons for the Shuriman and Targonian gods. It also being known that Ornn, Volibear and Anivia protect the Freljord and value its people above all else is evidence to me that they didn’t just sit around while Aatrox invaded the Freljord. I highly doubt that they did nothing while he slaughtered tribe after tribe to prep tryndamere to be his new vessel.

My second theory is that Ornn is protecting a world Rune.

For anyone who’s done the research on Ornn, we all know that he’s a very introverted fellow and he doesn’t tend to do things for others out of joy for being a neighborly friend. So why did Ornn help protect the Freljord from the Watchers? (void born beings) I believe it’s because he knew that they were coming for the world rune. A quote from the official lore explains it.

"Far beyond the known lands of Valoran, in the deepest, darkest spaces beneath the world, even the mythical Watchers are drawn to the power of the World Runes…"

After Ornn finished the howling abyss, the battle took place. The Freljord won and the watchers were thrown into the abyss. (Deepest, Darkest places beneath the world.)

The rune that Ornn is protecting is at a place where only he can go, beneath hearth home. This makes total sense. In Ornn’s lore, it explains how the planet bestowed him with the power of Runeterra flame, the magma core of the planet. “Ornn thanked the land for the glorious match. The land responded by opening a fiery pit, showing him its very heart, and he was honored to see it was a reflection of him: a fiery ram. The land had deemed Ornn worthy, and bestowed its secrets to him, gifting him the strength of primordial flame, for fire is the true agent of change.” This explains it all. The Ram shaped reflection and the gift of the primordial flame was more than just a gift. The planet chose Ornn to protect one of the world runes. Another quote from the lore may be all the evidence needed to prove that the Freljordian gods are related to the shuriman and targonic gods.

“Ornn was the firstborn of his brothers and sisters. He leapt into the world, itching for a fight.” Note that it says plural brothers. That’s may be a the link to Nasus, renekton and the other ascended. I realize that the ascended were mortal before ascension, however mythical pantheons of gods have entities labeled as siblings despite their entirely different origins. It also says that Ornn was itching for a fight. That doesn’t sound like the Ornn that we know from the other stories and from in game quotes. Ornn after he settled down in hearth home became introverted and secluded. I think he had to settle down in hearth home because he couldn’t risk leaving the rune without protection. Protecting the world rune became his new purpose.

One other thing. People are discussing what destroyed the Yggdrasil (The world tree). A voice line from Ornn literally explains everything. Ornn says “I once made a harpoon out of a mountain and a world tree, that was a weird century.”

I’m wondering if the “harpoon” is an allusion for something involving Mt.Targon (The mountain) and the Yggdrasil (The world tree)

Also, Volibear has the RuneGuard skin. So I mean that’s cool. It’s definitely tied into the lore, so RuneGuard Ornn?
