A champion with a Confusion ability?

We have pretty much every de-buff(bleed, poison, blind, fear, charm, slow, taunt, ect) besides confuse. I'm not sure how such a mechanic would work in league, but I just wanted to throw that out there as a possible ability for a future champion.

Inverted Controls?-- If you click to move forward, you move back. You try to go left, you go right. Ability Spam?-- Your abilities randomly go off, including summoner spells, burning mana and/or energy. Friendly Fire/Enemy Healing?-- You attack your allies. If the champion has a heal or shield, it will be cast on nearby enemies. You have no control over abilities or attacks.

Not sure if this has been brought up before. I think it would be an interesting mechanic to have in-game, but you guys are welcomed to express your opinions.

How can a thread that promotes pure RNG be upvoted on these boards?

  • Inverted controls would just be frustrating, but not very effective once you understand it. That would be useless in pro play. Not a good idea.
  • Ability Spam is bad RNG in its finest. No control, can just fuck everything up just because it happened that you used that specific critical spell. Or you could be in the receiving end, and be frustrated that a CC on an enemy actually killed you.
  • Friendly fire would make sense for AA only. Spells are too complicated and too unbalanceable to be used on allies. Same for enemy healing, would you force a Janna to heal you with her ult? Would that work since it's an AoE? Would it still heal her allies?

50% chance of auto attacks reflecting on yourself would be interesting. Was my gut thought thanks to a childhood of Pokemon.

X is confused, X is so confused that he hit himself.

As if polymorph wasn't already bad enough...

It would be a very annoying champ to play against, but yes it would be very interesting. Maybe as a support champ? :)

Confuse= You confuse enemy champ. and it forces them to attack their teammate or use a wrong basic ability (not ult)

R: Sewn Chaos - A wave of confusion ripples throughout the map for 8 seconds. During this time, healthbars above the heads of all units are no longer displayed (includes secondary bars, levels, and all other form of information provided). The caster of this ability is unaffected.

Confusion can be one of a few things:

  • Champion uses the wrong ability
  • Champion auto attacks nearest ally (like taunt but attacks allies instead of whoever taunted you)
  • Champion can't use abilities (but that's already Silence)
  • Champion can't attack at all

TBH I like the idea of the first two, the second most of all.

Sounds interesting, in reality the champion will turn out to be more frustrating than Zoe. By a long shot. Let's not.

Imho it would be way too chaotic and toxic gameplay.
