Let's go on a journey.

Hey hey how is everybody doing, I'm working on a concept for a champion and I'm looking to form a group to help bring my champ to life in the same way Riot does. It's still in the earlier stages of creation but I think I've got a pretty solid concept here so let me introduce you to Kai, the Wayfarer. Initially he was going to be the Traveler but I like Wayfarer better, as it means a person who travels on foot, and that's who this guy is, he's been all over the place, and he's done it at ground level. Now sure we have champs already that have been all over, but whereas the likes of Ezreal or Bard know more of the secret out of the way places, Kai goes right to the heart of a city and drinks deep of the land and its culture. This isn't some legendary hero, but rather a man of many hats, who always has a story to tell. As for the name Kai I like it so far as it is has various meanings throughout the world, such as strong, pier of a harbor, ocean water, fire, the one who brings knowledge, rejoicer, and start.

The general concept I want to share with Kai is that of a journey, with each game feeling like you've gone somewhere. Now I'm still in the early stages as far as his kit but my initial idea is that the ult will be a choice of a path, with multiple ways you can go, creating a permanent change in his playstyle. I also want this champ to be a door to the different regions of Runeterra, as such I'm thinking of visual upgrades as the game progresses to show where he's been, like a sword from Noxus, or a Shuriman scarf, which he gain upon leveling his ult. I'm thinking rank 1 would maybe be a choice between say Demacia, Noxus, and the Frejlord, with rank 2 giving us Piltover, Zaun, and Ionia, then 3 being Bilgewater, Shurima, Shadow Isles, and Mount Targon. Not really solid on that yet but hopefully you get the general idea. Now this is all still open to change, even Kai is just a production name atm, and so I'm looking for insight and hopefully a team that can join me in bringing this idea to life.
