So Ornn made Braum's shield right?

Cause I'm thinking that shield (door) looks like the kinda thing he would and more importantly could build.

I just wanna say, this thread has quickly become my favorite on the board at the moment. I think you guys are picking up on some interesting implications about Ornn, that I promise you will be answered.

ANSWERS. POSSIBLY TODAY!

Don't quote me on that, bc, I'm deep into another character at the moment (it'll be a while) and I don't remember what we are putting out on what days. I'm a writer, not someone who looks at calendars.

Oh crap. I just looked at my calendar. I have a meeting in like 10.

Gotta go!

Maybe Braum get this door when he saved a little troll child and then understood that it's almost undestructable, decided to find out who's made it and then met with Ornn. Thus gaining his almost god abilities, like not aging.

But... is a door, not a shield. He craft weapons, armors and shields... not doors as far as i know.

Remember, kiddies. Braum got his shield from the face of a mountain. How do we know that mountain wasn't actually a volcano?

Definitely since the Ram on braum's shield is very similar to the ram ornn summons during his ult.

Evidence:

  1. Ram head on shield as described in myth about the door.
  2. The myth about Ornn building a door.
  3. The stories are from a long time ago and presumably the mouth of the cave weakened allowing the removal of the door. This goes back to how the myth mentions that the mountain would fall apart before the door.
  4. Braum has a quote when attacking where he says, "let's show our friends the door" and one when moving, "Even the heaviest door can be opened." This second quote even suggests that he removed the door from the mountain when it was still intact.
  5. Someone also mentioned that Braum's lore says that he found it his shield on a mountain. I have not read this so i don't know for sure.

and now we look at his ult (ram) - i absolutely believe he made this massive shield. maybe the ram is his spirit animal. ;)

“**Build me a door **that will keep my treasure safe from thieves forever,” Grubgrack said to Ornn outside Hearth-Home, “and I will give you ten casks of my trollmead. It’s a family recipe.”

So Ornn labored for ten days and built the single best door anyone had ever built. He adorned it** with a ram’s head**, like his own, and the one at the heart of the Freljord. It was impervious to magic and lock-pickers alike. Grubgrack was so impressed with the quality of the door that he was speechless, which is very rare for a troll.

Ornn fastened the door** in front of the troll’s cave**, which was on top of the troll’s mountain, and where all the ugliest troll-kin in history had hid their treasure.

So no more implication that Lissandra has anything to do with the shield?

Yeah I could see him being the source of many legendary weapons
