The Varus Solution

So I just had the best idea to appease both camps, I feel both lores are interesting, what if you guys made it official that his old lore was basically that of the previous host for Varus. I know you guys probably wont, but if you basically just changed his old lore to have someone other than Noxians then you could say it happened hundreds of years ago and that that guy lived as Varus (as we knew him) until eventually the Darkin was killed and sealed again, only for similar events to reawaken him. I actually think you guys have a unique opportunity to create sort of a legacy character here, a mantle of vengeance passed through time, and would in some ways make more sense than flat out retconning.
