New Support Champ Idea

So I've been thinking about a champ I would like to see. A "Dog" based champ. Some loving, loyal, awesome champ that reminds people of their pooch. Conceptually, the champ should play with a Loyalty gameplay, and that role is most fitting for a support. Visually, I think the champ should be a Shadow Isle character. Some misunderstood, undead, giant, fierce looking, pooch desperately searching for the owner he never had. Did I mention he has three heads and is named Bastion? Complete playful puppy animation. His unique attributes are to his synergy with an ADC carry who needs lots of peel, but he would suffer due to his inability to be far away from the carry. His game play would revolve around his the use of each of his three heads. Here are my thoughts on abilities.

Passive: Loyalty- At the start of each game Bastion picks a champion to be his master and cannot reselect after minions spawn. Bastion resurrects next to his master (rather than pool), but can still buy items while dead. He also gains 15% movement speed when moving toward his master. If bastion moves out of range of his owner he gains 20% movement speed and the ability to pass through units. However he cannot attack or use abilities.

Q: Deaths Bite- Bastion channels a bite on enemy champion for 4 seconds causing them to have a increasing slow over the duration of the channel. The channel only is effective while the enemy champion is within range of Bastion. Bastion can have this ability active on up to three champions at a time (max 3 charges 10 sec CD). Low AD damage.

W: Treat/Sniff- Passive: Treat- Bastion will periodically heal himself when he kills a minion and get bonus gold. 3 Charges 50 second CD Active: Sniff: Bastion sniffs in a direction revealing all enemy champions in a long distance. 3 Charges 1 minute cool down.

E: Return to Master: while within range, Bastion can activate to perform a powerful jump all the way to his master's location. He knocks back any enemies in the landing area. He also intercepts all projectiles for 1 sec upon landing (20 seconds CD).

R: The Beasts Anger- Passive: Automatically used when master has died. Bastion goes into a frenzy upon seeing the death of his master. This frenzy lasts until out of combat and gains 20% movement speed and size. During the frenzy each of his heads lashes out at enemy champions dealing % max health damage to up to three targets each seconds. Targets affected by Deaths Bite receive double damage and are stunned at the end of the duration. During this time Bastions E is turned into a general leap that knocks opponents in the air. Bastion is overcome by grief once out of combat and instantly returns to the pool to grieve for his master's return. This ability is available at lvl 1.

The general idea behind the champ is to shut down teams that hyper focus the ADC, but reward teams that find alternative strategies. Weakness is obviously poor map control and inability to be effective when far from his master. He is an excellent scout and can ward effectively.

This obviously might need some tweaking but I'm curious on your thoughts.

I love the concept of it, but the kit you came up is probably...well, to be straight, unviable as af. Here's why.

  1. Cannot use abilities or attack outside ADC's range = unable to roam at all or even ward safely in a nearby tribush if ADC is pushing.
  2. Spawns beside adc and kit forcing him to stay in ADC range = ADC will always receive half exp in lane, which is unhealthy in certain situations where they need the exp.
  3. 1 ability (Q) for cc, and not even hard cc. No damage whatsoever. 1 second peel on E that has a long-as-af cd.
  4. R procs after ADC is dead. How many times have you heard ADCs say "Why didn't you do that while I was alive"? Yes, exactly. Also, this is a useless ultimate if ADC is a good player and never dies. Despite the ADC doing well, this champ will drag down the entire team due to its uselessness.
  5. If ADC dies, you "shouldn't be able to attack or use abilites" but R suggests otherwise.

I don't mean to degrade your thoughts or anything, but I'm pointing out some...very...concerning issues. Good concept though!

This is honestly a pretty awesome idea

Given the kit could use some work but the overall idea of it is on point

I'm still working on the idea I wrote this on my phone last night, but the Q charges will each have their own cooldown so it's not 30 second for 3 charges, it's 10. 1 Q per head and maybe turn it into a snare if all 3 heads clamp down on the same target. Also, I was thinking the E should be a double activate. First activation is a leap forward with a slow on landing and the second activate is the return.

Oh also could have some great start of game dialoge with Jinx (and Vayne). Vayne: "I'm more of a cat person." Jinx would just go nuts over having a puppy to play with.
