Vana the spirit mage

Vana is a yordle who was blissfully unaware to the dangers that life has to offer. Vana decided one day that her and her marry band of friends should go out into the world and explore all that they could. The world was filled with plenty to see but the world can be more cruel then can be seen at first glance. A fierce storm began to brew in the path of Vana and he friends she. Unable to turn the ship in time and avoid the worse they headed straight into the storm. Their small vessel was thrown around like a bag in the wind as the waves got higher and the wind began to crash the waves harder and harder against the side of the ship. Vana and the rest of the crew began to fear for their lives unsure if they world survive the cruel storm that nature had brought apon them. Just as things looked the worse it could get an island appeared off in the distance. It was land and the crew began to feel better as if they had a chance. Vana grabbed the wheel and spun it with haste toward the island. At that moment the storm began to stir more fierce and with determination in her eyes Vana stared through the storm into the dark, eerie, creepy forest of the island. With unease in heart and second thoughts crossing her mind Vana began to really feel fear as if that she never really had before. The storm finally reaching its peak it crashes one last time into the ship capsizing it sending deep into the depths of the ocean. After moments of struggling in the ocean to get to land Vana passes out in the water a few hundred feet from the shore. Few hours pass and Vana awakens on the shore of the island coughing sea water from her lungs dazed and confused of her situation. After a little while Vana gains her bearings looks around as the storm still shifts and quakes the sea behind her. All she sees is a dark forest but no sign of any of her friends. Feeling cold, lonely, shaken, and in dread she stands up from the ground and begins to head into the forest. Her head still fuzzy and her vision blurring in and out staggers through the dark new terrain hoping to find her friends or some kind of civilization. Vana begins to call out her friends names and forest begins to shift around her, she feels watched and begins to fear for life. She starts to run hobbling as fast as she can toward anything that could hide her from the thing that may be following her. Vana continues to look around in a rush. Worn out from the wash up on the beach her head starts to spin and she falls to the ground. Fighting to stay away she begins to call for help and starts to cry. Just before she fades away into unconsciousness she sees feet as they walk up to her. Vana wakes in a shack with a old man in front of her. "Wake child, and listen to an old man's story" says an old witch doctor looking man. "Who are you" asks Vana a bit groggy. "My name be Drek, I be a spirit mage a unique one of a kind spell caster, child heed ma words and I shall teach ya to be strong so ya can save those ya care for" says Drek. "I don't know, I am so confused and I am unsure what to think" says Vana as she shakes. "Don't be afraid, and here have something to eat and water to drink, you are going to need all da strength you can get" says Drek as he hands Vana a small loaf of bread and a wooden bowl of water. Vana takes the bread and eats it with haste and chugs the water. "Were you the one following me in the forest" asks Vana almost thankful. "Yes, child I be followin ya from da beach, and I hate to be tellin ya, ya be the only one who survived da wreckage of ya ship" says Drek as he grabs another bowl of water and a cloth. Vana's face becomes sickly looking and a tear rolls down her cheek. "What did you want to tell me" asks Vana in a voice of sadness. "Well, I was thinkin you could learn ma magics, I be gettin old and don't have much time, I be wishin to pass on ma powers so it can live on" says Drek as he takes the wet cloth and clears Vana's face. "What will it take" asks Vana a bit concerned. "Well, I can give ya the gift of eternal life, ya never be needin to eat, sleep, or drink water again, ya also gain powers never seen beyond this island" says Drek as he stands putting the bowl and cloth away and begins to shift through some items on a table. Drek walks back over to Vana with a blue crystal in hand. "Whats that for" asks Vana. "It be the crystal I be needin for da ritual to make ya eternal, that if ya accept ma offer" asks Drek as he begins to cast a spell on the crystal. "I am scared will it hurt" asks Vana as she shifts away slightly. "Only if ya resist child" says Drek as his eyes and runes on his skin begin to glow. "I accept, I never want to lose others again" says Vana as she closes her eyes. The crystal glows brightly and Vana's soul leaves her body and refuses giving her a ghostly figure. Vana falls asleep. "Rest child ya trainin begins for tomorrow" says Drek as the glow of his eyes and runes fade. The next morning Drek wakes Vana hands her a robe and waves his hand for her to follow him out of his shack. Vana puts on the robe and leaves the shack into the forest and for a few months Vana and Drek train until one day Drek is too weak to continue. "I be sorry child I would teach ya more but ya gonna have to figure it out on ya own, I be too old and I be begin to fade" says Drek as he begins to cough laying in bed. "What can I do for you Drek" asks Vana with a face of sorrow. "Ya need to do one last thing child, ya need to devour my soul so ya be strong enough to save the ones ya be wantin to hold on to" says Drek with a weak breathe. Vana grabs Dreks cheek and a tear rolls down her cheek and then she lowers her head a breathes deeply. Vana's eyes begin to glow she then drains Drek of his soul, a stream of spirit enegry flows from Drek's mouth in to Vana's. Vana covers Drek with a blanket then grabs a bag and some supplies. She then leaves the shack pulls a candle from her bag and lights the shack with the candle causing to burst into flames. Vana watches it as the shack burns in the night. Vana then leaves, she builds a boat and in a few days begins to make her way out to sea. Vana travels the world first traveling to bilgewater, making her way to across the world. Vana hears on her travels of the league and decides it would give her a chance to test her skills so one day when she finds someone who is close to her she can save them from what ever might come their way.

Passive:Banshee Wail: Every time Vana casts and hits with a spirit ability she gets a stack to her Banshees Wail, after collecting 4 stacks she will let out a ghastly wail fearing all near by enemies for 2 seconds.

Q-Spirit Blast: Vana casts a blast of spirit magic in a straight line and if the projectile hits the target is pushed back,if pushed into a wall the enemy will simply phase through the wall. 6 second cooldown. W-Spirit armor: When cast for 8 seconds Vana gains a boost to magic resist and armor, when the armor fades if Vana was hit she gains a point to her passive. 12 second cooldown. E-Spirit Focus: Vana focuses her spirit magic into her hands, her next basic attack deals extra damage based on ability power and slows the enemy. 6 second cooldown. R-Spirit Bomb: Vana shoots a huge spirit bomb that when hits a target explodes and hits all near by enemies, giving a stack to her passive for every target hit by the bomb. 65 second cooldown.

Hey. Work on her skills a lot more, and you might have something here. Here's some advice: imagine what you want her to be. How does she leave her signature on the battlefield? And then build around that. And when you build around that, you can build bridges between- making a viable kit. Here's a random example for something not like your champ- so you can work on yours yourself. Pass- Every 5th AA applies confusion for #seconds, confused targets deal X% of their damage to themselves upon attacking. Q- Blinds target enemy, causing them to miss X% of their attacks. W- Increases your armor and magic resist X%, and increases the damage target enemy deals by Y. E- Taunts enemy, and confuses them for X seconds R- Activates shield for X seconds that gives #armor, enemies that attack are taunted for Y seconds.
