Electra: The Yordle of Targon Mountain (Mid/Sup)

Hey, this is one of the 2 Support Champion ideas https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/uI46Ao3m-2-support-champion-ideas that I reworked to be a possible midlaner as well. She’s a Yordle mage with anger management issues who controls the weather, especially storms.

Passive: A Storm is Brewing Every blank seconds, a lightning bolt randomly lights up a small area of the map near Electra (chosen by game AI.) For example, if Electra is in the center of bot lane, the lightning could fall anywhere from right next to her, the enemy botlane tower in that direction, or halfway to dragon in that direction. The lightning bolt reveals any enemy champs, wards, or jungle camps near it. Enemy champs who are spotted by lightning see it as well.

Q: Rain Electra summons a cloud of rain to rain over a large circular area (size of Lux E circle) for a few seconds. Enemies/minions in the rain are slowed and take slight damage the longer they stay under it. Low cd. Low mana.

W: Cloud Form Electra can cast cloud form on herself or an ally (a point-and-click spell). When in cloud form, the character is immune to cc but not damage, gains increased movement speed, and can walk through walls and enemies. The downside is that the character can’t deal damage while in cloud form, although they can choose to cancel it early and do damage. High cd. Low mana.

E: Wind Shove Electra uses a click-and-drag gust of wind to move a single champion, kind of like Taliyah’s Seismic Shove. This ability is better though, as it is a line skillshot and can be used on an enemy or ally! Also, no delay! If used on an enemy, they are moved and take moderate damage. If used on an ally, they are moved and gain attack speed for like 2 seconds. Medium cd. Medium mana.

R: Sith Lightning Yeah, Sith is probably copywrited, but oh well. I got the idea from when the Emperor shocks Darth Vader with lightning in Star Wars Episode 6. In game, Electra shoots lightning out of her hands in a large cone shape. Enemies who are hit by it take heavy damage and are stunned for a second or two, while allies who are hit by it have their attack speed double for a few seconds(4ish?). High cd(for an ult). Medium mana(for an ult).

Stats: Electra is a squishy, AP mage with medium spell range.

Appearance: Electra is a teenage-looking Yordle (even though she’s like a century old due to Yordle life span) with spiky yellow hair, yellow eyes, yellow fur, and some kind of black outfit like a dark storm cloud. Maybe a mage-y, cloak like thing?

Lore: Electra was always a strange Yordle, and in a city with famous scientists, a girl who talks to fairies, and Teamo, that’s saying something! While all Yordles have some magical properties, allowing them to create illusions as to what they look like, Electra has the power to control the weather. No other Yordle has that power, and they began to fear her violent mood swings. Sure, when she was happy, the weather would always be sunny and clear-skied, but whenever she got angry, there would be a powerful thunderstorm!

One day, Electra got so angry that lightning struck the roof of a Yordle home, setting it on fire! A bunch of Yordles eventually put the fire out, but not before their house was destroyed. When her anger subsided, Electra felt terrible, and left Bandle city to train her powers, vowing not to return until she had her powers and anger under control.

Electra traveled for weeks, looking for the highest place in Runeterra. She noticed she was more powerful the closer she was to the clouds, where the weather was, and thought learning to control her powers where they were most powerful would make it easier to control them when she was less powerful. This eventually led her to Targon Mountain, the highest mountain in the world. Its peak was actually above the clouds, the perfect place for Electra to train!

Electra eagerly began the climb up the mountain, but she didn’t get far before she ran into the Solari! The Solari yelled at Electra to get off their mountain, but just then, a strange fog descended from the mountain, and with it came monsters! The Solari prepared for battle, and so did Electra. She called lightning bolts down to strike several of the monsters while the Solari took out the rest. The Solari were impressed by her powers, seeing her now as someone that could help them in upcoming battles against the stupid Lunari. The two tribes had just worked together to capture Aurelion Sol, but the Solari feared the Lunari would try to steal A Sol’s power all for themselves! Because of this, they welcomed Electra to the mountain, and implored her to stay with them for a bit before venturing to the top of the mountain.

Electra agreed to spend a few days with the Solari, and found herself enjoying them and their bad-ass way of life. Days turned into weeks, and Electra learned all about how to fight the mist monsters and hunt the few animals that were tough enough to survive on the steep mountainside. She also learned about the Lunari, who preferred to hunt at night using stealth to their advantage, unlike the Solari, who preferred to hunt during the day using brute strength. Eventually though, Electra grew homesick, and set off to complete her mission of training at the top of the mountain.

Electra stayed at the top of the mountain for a week honing her powers, but while she gradually grew more in control of her powers, she also grew lonelier. Yordles shouldn’t be alone for too long, so Electra soon decided to return to her Solari friends. But as soon as she dropped below the clouds, what did she see but a battle going on! Electra summoned a gust of wind behind her to rush down the mountain, and was horrified to discover the Lunari had slain nearly half of the Solari tribe! The people who Electra considered friends were now dead!

In her fury, Electra summoned a storm cloud that filled the entire sky. Hundreds of bolts of lightning fell as though they were rain. When the storm subsided, all of the Lunari were dead!

The surviving Solari members stared around themselves in shock, not even noticing Aurelion Sol flying away to freedom, and Electra running to nowhere in particular. She traveled alone for weeks, not daring to be around anyone for fear of killing them as well. She may have continued on this way, slowly going insane the way Veigar did, had it not been for the child. A child was getting attacked by wolves, and Electra used her lightning powers to kill the wolves, being careful not to hurt the child in the process. The child’s father saw, and hired Electra to be his bodyguard on an upcoming trip.

As the decades passed, Electra traveled all over Runeterra as various people’s bodyguard, gradually getting her confidence and snarky personality back. Some highlights of her travels include her insult war with Kled (which she won!) and teaching Amumu how to play tag (she can be around him for a bit without dying as long as she stays in cloud form). Humans often wonder how a punk teenage girl, as she appears to them due to Yordle illusion, got a job as a bodyguard, and if Electra overhears, she isn’t afraid to knock them on their butt with a strong gust of wind and laugh at their stupidity. Still, Electra feels bad for what happened on Targon Mountain, and vows to go back there should a new Lunari member ever come to be, as she is the only being still alive who knows the ways of the Lunari.
