I was in champion selection today when someone's top laner got banned away..I proceeded to ask him if he'd like to swap roles and we did.
I got this idea to add a feature similar to how we swap champions, but we swap roles instead. By no means is this needed but it would be kind of cool to offer a role swap to someone.
What do you guys think? would it be cool to be able to offer/receive role swaps?

I think if it was, you see a lot of people just spamming it if they didn't get their desired roll. I'd rather leave it up to the player to initiate through chat, because the end result is approximately the same if your team is communicative.

Quite a lot, actually. I'm also fairly talkative in general, and tend to get rather reasonable responses from most teams I play with.
Yes, there are exceptions...but I'd say I have a 75-80% success rate with starting useful conversations in queue.
