(Champion Concept) - Ruya, the Phantom Guard
I actually had an idea for a Noxian assassin-style support rummaging around in my mind. Not really "might is everything" and more like "they can't kill you if they're dead" kind of support. Technically a WIP but I don't think this idea is really going anywhere so I thought I put it down here for future reference (and if someone could pick up the idea and improve it, as well, that'd be swell)
Bit of lore: Ruya (placeholder name I guess) is a Black Rose warden, acting as Leblanc's personal bodyguard. What she lacks in deception she more than makes up for in skillful assassination, and any threat to Leblanc's person is dealt with swiftly, silently, efficiently. However, because of some childhood trauma, she is utterly dependent on Leblanc's opinion of her and is subservient out of both fear and reverence. This thematic will be reflected in game where she'll have some form of autonomy, but without the nearby ally she doesn't have access to a lot of her power.
Main issue might be that building her as a tank might be better than as a damage assassin, but hey, I didn't balance the numbers, just the concept. Ruya acts, essentially, as another weapon or tool for the ADC to use, augmenting themselves at the expense of Ruya's own personal glory.
Melee, Assassin, Support
Uses Energy as a resource
Passive
#Black Mark
Ruya is bound to target allied Champion (very much like Kalista). While she is within X range of her tethered ally, Ruya takes a % of the damage her ally takes as damage over time. When Ruya damages an enemy, her tethered ally is healed over time for a % of Ruya's damage dealt.
Also, every x (thinking 4-5) number of Ruya or the tethered ally's normal attacks on a single enemy will mark them as the Victim, granting movement speed to any of Ruya's allies that move towards the target. A single stack lasts x seconds - remaining stacks drop off much faster. Multiple enemies can be marked at once (Runaan's anyone). When the tethered ally attacks a Victim, Ruya regains some Energy.
Q #Headhunter Leaps to target enemy, dealing physical damage and granting one stack of Victim, slowing their movement speed. If the tethered ally deals damage to the marked enemy, the slow is refreshed.. If the enemy has already been marked as a Victim, both Ruya and the ally deal bonus (magic or physical not sure) damage on hit equal to a % of the Victim's missing HP when attacking them.
W #Shadow Tag Places a spell tag at target location, which arms itself immediately but goes invisible after a delay. When stepped on, the tag triggers, summoning shadows that trap and mark enemies in the area as Victims, snaring them for 0.25 seconds. Uses an ammo system. If an enemy is already a Victim when the Shadow Tag procs, they are stunned instead for (1, 1.5?) seconds and dealt magic damage.
The immediate arming is so you can use Shadow Tag like Swain's W.
E
#Silent Guardian or Watchful Protector or Dark Knight (hue)
Passive: When not moving after x seconds, Ruya gains invisibility. Her next autoattack will be ranged (I think 525 is reasonable). Ruya can break invisibility by attacking, upon which she deals bonus damage based on her maximum health, or casting a spell, .
Active: Channels for a short duration based on distance (up to maybe 4-5 seconds?) with a minimum channel time of x and after which she instantly teleports to her tethered ally.
This spell will should probably have a super long, close to or at ult-level CD mostly because of its global threat.
R #Soul Guard/Death Knell Ruya merges with nearby tethered ally, granting them a shield for a % of Ruya's maximum HP, and giving them bonus AD, AP, Armor and Magic Resist based on Ruya's own stats (these stats are arbitrary, could be attack speed, Tenacity, lifesteal/vamp, whatever). For the duration, the tethered ally gains increased movement speed.
This spell can be recast, causing the ally to lose the bonus stats and shield. Ruya dashes to target enemy, going through them, marking them as a Victim and then automatically triggering Relocator's passive. After she finishes the dash, she deals high (physical or true?) damage and stuns them for (1, 1.5, 2?) seconds. This dash cannot be interrupted (any CC will affect Ruya after she lands).
Most of the time, it's best for Ruya to remain as a buffer for the ADC, but she can leave in order to peel for them if necessary. Communication might be necessary to get the timing down right, though.
Hey hey feedback I appreciate
Healing ability
and i just realized that the ult is just like kallista except with the stats and the reverse positions of activation
