Issues With Viewing Long Quote/Reply Chains
Hello! I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but if a reply/quote chain becomes too long in discussion view, it stops making those boxes that signal one discussion and then it just keeps all the stuff in the same box to avoid the boxes from becoming really small, making it seem like all posts past that point are replies to the post that put the discussion past its breaking point. (It's kind of hard to describe.) This is okay, since I don't want the boxes to become too small. However, I do have an issue with how it orders the posts once it gets past that point. The newest replies go to the top and the other replies go down. (Post sorting, newest/best, is irrelevant in this situation. It will always put the newest replies at the top.) This is inconsistent with how the discussions normally go. I'll scroll down, read, scroll down, read, then I'll hit the "breaking point reply" and then I'll have to scroll down until I get to the actual reply to the "breaking point reply", then I'll have to scroll up to read the rest of the discussion chronologically. Can we switch the order of the posts once we hit the breaking point so that people can keep scrolling down to view the discussion chronologically, instead of having to scroll down and then up?
