Please add the "Preview" feature GD had
Back then in GD I used to hover over the threads' names and see what they wrote without having to enter the threads, that way I could see if the thread in particular was worth getting int.
I liked that.
End.

YAY!
I was waiting for this feature :D
What about something like on the old devtracker page where you can click on the blank space beside the link, and it opens the first post with a dropdown thing? I find that super handy.
This is definitely a nice feature on the current vBulletin devtracker page, and it works well for an experience such as the dev tracker.
I'd be curious as to how that would translate to full thread listings where the focus of the view is less about what a particular individual said, but is more intended for showing a list of relevant / quality discussions that you might be interested in joining or reading.
I think for the purpose of previewing a topic, viewing an OP is a good way to figure out the gist of what everything inside is founded on.
I would prefer the click to drop down over the tool tip. Would better justify leaving votes on the screen, and you could hide voting until you expand.
It can't be any worse than the current tool tip, though my guide would likely be a prime example of an abuse case. Maybe a minimize preview button on top of the post? or perhaps scroll bars after a certain length?
This is done. We'll improve the presentation of the preview tooltip over time.
Thanks Khardagon!
Hey, while you're at it, could you consider a preview in a similar style for imgur/hotlinks? Like if I mouse over an imgur link or a youtube link it shows me the video or the picture that was linked. Or just the page.
