##Track the server repair status HERE, please do not post more about your latest dc and afk-fest. We are all dealing with it, we know, it sucks, they're working on it.

Secondly, Site Feedback is the topic for feedback to this forum site, such as comment visibility, font size, site navigation and the like. If you want something answered about in-game issue please post in Help & Support. Sometimes reading where you're posting helps guys.

Twitch Teemo Shaco Khazix It's not always easy to deal with sneaky champs... As it is with hackers, I mean DDoSers...

I saw something on Twitter, a group of DDoSers who name themselves "Derp (DerpTrolling)" on Twitter. They frequently DDoS popular gaming servers like EA, Origin, Blizzard servers too I think and League of Legends. You can go see what's going on on their Twitter or what's going top happen sometimes.... Whatever, go look here if interested https://twitter.com/DerpTrolling

If you look for posts from 10th february, they twitted "@LeagueOfLegends @Internap @CloudFlareSys Your network is no match for our superior Gaben Laser Beam™". Their "Gaben Lase Beam" looks like it could a program that helps them amplify the data they send through their DDoS attacks (something like that, I don't really know anything about it), one of their victims even recorded a traffic of over 400Gbits/seconds which is equivalent to 180 Tbits of data send in a hour to overflow the traffic of servers.

I hope Riot finds a solution to what's happening soon :) summoner 3 Could be the perfect solution ! :D

So, could Riot be getting DDos'ed by DERP ? Who knows ? What do you guys think ?

okay, one-Derptrolling isn't a hacker because DDoS'ing is simply overloading a site with constant pings. You can do the essentialy same thing by setting a macro to spam your f5 button. And yes that is possible, but it's more likely to do with the recent patch as we already had problems that were then resolved when Derp posted that attack. But we won't know till we know so......eh

Yeah you're right, it's not the wrong term, thanks to make me know, I should have used the term "DDoSer" ^^ And it does look it's since they patched the game to 4.2, but at the same time, Derp could have use this opportunity to DDoS LoL servers since logically, the traffic is higher than normal after a new patch; it would make it even easier to them to "hurt" the servers ! Well, it's just my thoughts ! :P

I am one of those who hate seeing people raging to a point where they sometimes want their money back, free RP or other stuff without asking themselves what's happening or simply asking themselves if they could do better... THIS is the kind of things that makes me rage lol

But... we can't do much, it's like this in every online game when something is having some issues !

I tried logging in and it says that there 20000 people logging in. I'm not an expert so i'm not sure if that could be a DDos. That Derp guy's tweet and the insane logins are probably related.

Yeah this latest bit of lag is a new thing. I'm hit by it too, loss prevented has been activated.
