Rioters should post HERE

the Anarchit3cht··3 votes·1,377 views

I get why the post on Reddit, because its more popular, but its a self perpetuating cycle. They post all their updates/think tanks etc on Reddit, so to be a part of those, you have to also be on Reddit. And in turn, since they have so much activity they continue to post them on Reddit. Instead, Rioters should create these discussion/think tanks etc on you know... your own website. Then people who want to be a a part of the discussion will come here, instead.

Oh look, it's this entitled idiot again. Go read my reply to you on your server thread, and stop acting like you would do so much better than Riot at running their FREE game that you get to play.

see if i gave this kind of reply in game i'd get banned. so by rito's logic i declare ban pls.

Seriously, go read his thread: top level korean pros rage when they get above 20 ping, or any of his recent threads now that I look at all of them. This guy is actually acting like an entitled idiot (the entitled part more on his threads complaining about the servers)

Yes, I'm not saying they NEVER do it, but they don't do it often. That post was 9 months, I challenge you to find one from sooner! I also challenge you to find me a meaningful reply from a rioter to someone's ideas. Compare this to the number of these thread types that show up on Reddit, and the type of player to Rioter communication that is exchanged there.

I dont go on reddit, can you send me a link or a bunch so I know what you're talking about

Neither do I, but even posts from their un/official announcements will lead to reddit.

The official unofficial forum of Riot.

They literally consult Reddit, way before their own forums. Just get a Reddit account. It's like 4Chan, but without the "cool" or "fun" of 4Chan.

Yeah, that makes a bit more sense. Although I think the reason why they do that is because, as a whole, even before they started doing those things, the League sub-reddit is a bit more....how to put this nicely...engaged in balance with actual reasoning and ability. Here on the boards, anyone can post, so you get a bunch of thread of people complaining about how "X champion is OP! Rito pls nerf this freelo thrash!" when all that really happened was they lost a game badly against a champ who was their counter, and are upset. Granted there are a lot of intelligent discussions on these boards, but it's still a little bit easier to get those intelligent discussions on Reddit

If riot posts on reddit what reason do the people who go onl reddit have to go on boards. Riot does need to actively support their own forum if they want it to flourish.

All I want to do is rewatch collegiate semi finals and the video on twitch starts with a 30min count down, streaming playbacks isn't exactly twitch's specialty because every time I try skip the 30 min count down at the intro it freezes on me and then I have to reload page. Why would u ever include 30min timer in a playback of a game that's already happened.... what are u counting down for?!?!? the suspense is real! #riot #riotPLEASE!
