I have seen Riot respond ONE time to posts that Aatrox mains have over the last year, and it was to post of mine (different account).
Why do we post? If Riot does indeed read them and consider what the player say then god damn respond and acknowledge it so we know you are actually reading the posts.
Dont mistake old Riot for new Riot. Old (smaller) Riot cared about the player base opinions...new mega cash mongering Riot cares about nothing other than $$. Literally.
You know they are because they post all over the boards. First off, you think every post deserves a response? We'll start with I doubt they go onto any thread titled any form of "Fuck you rito QQ" because it's just some hateful thread. They don't tend to respond tons on the same topic, and therefore repeating themselves over and over. I highly doubt that their only job is to sit on these threads too man. I rarely see them post on volatile threads. "then god damn respond and acknowledge it" like that. See? You say things like that, but want them to talk to you? Shit, I'd ignore you too if I were them. People seem to think that just because Riot owns League that their employees answer to the players. Wrong. Their employees answer to the people who sign their checks. How bout I walk into your job out of nowhere and start telling you you're doing everything wrong and how you had better do it instead, and if you don't I'm going to loudly bitch about it until it drives you crazy? I doubt you'd like that. Also, there's a red tracker link. Just click it because half the time they don't respond because they've already answered those questions, and aren't wasting their time saying the same shit over and over. Riot is not obligated to talk to anyone ever. They do it to be nice, and because they care. People just forget that they are outnumbered thousands to one. Anyways, I expect you to post some form of reply on every single thread in every single forum for the next three days (I'll be watching for you), if you don't, you are a hypocrite, plain and simple.
Not only that, but since it's a business I can imagine they have written agreements of nondisclosure/non-interaction with the player base that makes the game look bad in its current form.
