I have a question about removed content

This just happened the second time to me and i was wondering if there is a solution to my dilemma.

A post of mine gets removed. That is fine because i know that i sometimes am a little harsh... But i post a lot on the boards. I have no idea what was removed. When i clicked Riots notification about a removed post, it didn't show me the post that was removed.

Can you be a little more transparent, dear moderators? I understand that you cannot possibly write a personal message, but can you at least make it automated that the post you removed is referenced in the removal message?

To give an example: This is like you are the teacher, grading a test i took, telling me 5 out of the 30 answers are wrong but NOT telling me which 5.

edit: Just read this in a post from Tamat: "We will always send you a private message with WHAT we removed, WHY we did, and WHAT (if any) your punishment is." i haven't received a message like that. Where would that be?

Hey Aerothal,

That's our bad! There used to be some functionality in place that would automatically include a link to the content being touched in the message, but that stopped working so the moderators have been doing it manually. I'll touch base with the team to make sure they do this moving forward. In the meantime, I've sent you a private notification to better explain the action that was taken. I hope that sheds some light on things for you.

Hey! Here i am again after a message was removed. I think you guys have made progress! Links are included now so i at least know in which post a message was removed. That's great! Now to my problem:

I have no idea what was removed.

There is a link but it shows me only the thread, not my post. While i remember the topic i actually have no idea (4 days later) what i actually said.

To be able to change my behavior (in this case my post was removed for the "dont be a jerk" rule) i need to see the violating post.

Say i had an active day posting on the boards and then didnt post for a few days. there is no way that i will remember ad verbum what i wrote. That severely hinders a "reform". One needs to be able to reflect on the post in order to understand why it was removed.

This is like giving me a time ban in game for eg. "verbal abuse" but not telling me what about the things i said was verbally abusive.

Would it be possible to include the violating verbiage in your notification message?

Could probably better speculate if you could show us the post that was removed. Or you can probably just wait for a red to respond.

I posted some music content i created in the sound & music section, but i didn't read up on the Guidelines for the Sound & Music board! Community creations would have been the correct board. I appreciate Riots quick response!

Yah, I doubt anyone else would've been able to help clarify that. Good thing the reds are always on top of these things. :)
