Mobile needs the same abilities as boards does.

This shouldn't even be a debate! What is the point of having a look but do not touch edition for mobiles? THIS IS GOING BACKWARDS NOT FORWARDS!!!!!!

Sorry, i'm a little irritated, I was extremely excited to see the jump to mobile version, and was under the assumption that it would have the same capabilities as normal posters, not be handicapped or forced to use the main site to have any type of interaction!!!

If I am wrong in my assumptions, please correct me, but I am at a lost to why this is being considered a good option.

Why not give mobile the same access to the site? Wasn't the point of the transistion from GD to Leddit, to allow riot the ability to manipulate the site better? If so why are you crippling us?

Couldn't agree more, especially as I don't seem to be able to turn the mobile version off. I should be able to at least make replies from my phone as it's basically the same layout as zooming into the thread body.

It's on Read Only right now. I think they wanted to get feedback on appearance how the navigation feels before turning it on fully.

I'm all for critique where critique is due, but the mobile version is very much in alpha; it shouldn't be the expectation that it has everything ready to go at first release.

That being said, if it is indeed a forced change for mobile users (can't toggle it to ignore the mobile implementation), that's a problem. Basic software development dictates that you do not force a nonfunctional or significantly less functional change onto your users without the ability to revert unless it's completely necessary that it happens.

They're not done with mobile boards, they just wanted to get the smallest version of it out the door as soon as possible. I'm sure they'll add in replying, voting, etc eventually.
