Sub-Comm revamp
Let's face it: right now, the sub-comms are terribly confusing.
Does my "Plz Nerf Irelia" thread go in Champions & Skins or Live Gameplay? What about my "[Bug Report] Primetime Draven" - does it go in C&S, Site Feedback, Live Gameplay, Help and Support, or Miscellaneous? Does my "New Diana skin (with artwork) belong in Champions & Skins or Fan Creations?
The Sub-Comm guidelines should make things crystal clear, but the sub-comm divisions should also be intuitive enough that you shouldn't need to read those guidelines unless you have an unusually cross-topic post. Right now, I have some of these type of questions *even though I've read all the sub-comm guidelines.
Below, I propose an alternate set of sub-comms that are more logical and therefore won't leave players guessing.
**Community Beta Feedback **(this will eventually be merged into the "Infrastructure" sub-comm)
**Visuals and Audio **(Skins, Artwork, Audio, etc)
Fan Creations
Balance and Gameplay
Upcoming Content
Infrastructure/Systems (Client, Tribunal/initiatives, servers, etc)
Memes & Games
Dominion/TT
Misc.
eSports
Riot Official (announcements)
Help, Support, and Bug Reports (another option is to simply put bug reports in the relevant sub-comm with the [bug] tag)
What do you think? Are these categories clearer than today's? I'll argue that the two that have parenthesis to clarify them, need better names - anybody want to throw out some suggestions?
