An ordering update

Okay, so I think we need a bit of an update to our ordering options to be a bit more intuitive and a bit more versatile. It's somewhat simple and a combination of a few things that a lot of people have asked for.

#Recent

Stays the same, it makes sense, people use it. Hell, I use it 99% of the time.

#Hot

I'd rather actually see this be switched to a 'sort by activity' and not 'sort by vote/time'. To me, "Hot" implies active and moving. The current setting as it is now looks more like "Trending" which brings me to our next bit...

#Trending

Current "Hot", no change besides the name. It provides a more practical outlook towards the ordering strategy, because although many are against the idea of sorting like this I think we can all agree knowing what the popular opinion in general is still useful, even if you don't agree/participate with it. Here it's at least being a bit more clear.

#Best

BEST IN X TIME RANGE. I cannot stress this enough, the current best is pointless after one look due to the huge difference in visibility score, it simply doesn't change. An easy, easy fix that can legitimately useful is giving a "Best by day/week/month/overall" option. Not only would I actually use it repeatedly, but it would give a bit more context of when "Y" post was popular.

Thoughts?

What do you consider to be activity?

100% agreed, having Best be only sortable by all time is silly. There could be a completely dead and obsolete thread in Best but it'd still be there in its current state.
