There is a ton of empty space to the right of text, as shown in these screenshots:

I know it helps with nesting and is an ideal horizontal length for reading, but it looks very unnatural the way text just stops halfway across the screen while the background keeps going.
This was discussed here about 3 weeks ago.
Hyrum Graff2 votesI concur. While I know blank space is important, and can look really nice, I don't love the way it's been done in this particular instance.
I'm not sure what I'd do to change it yet, though.
Daen1 votesThe main annoyance for me is the fact the background keeps going even though the text stops. It looks really strange to have half the page completely unused unless there's a max-nested post somewhere.
I'm right there with you, I have no idea how to change it.
