Can we add filters to our "boards home" page

I am not interested in memes. However, it seems like memes are consistently up-voted or "hot" for whatever reason. The result is that the boards home is basically the meme board with a couple other posts mixed in.

Would it be possible to give us a config page where we could uncheck boards in which we have no interest? It is ok with me if I never see a meme on my boards home. I'm sure there are other players with no interest in various other boards that would also appreciate this feature.

Kinda tired of the hot page bieng filled with memes too, their fun and all but the important stuff is getting blocked out.

I'd love to filter out the memes and team recruitment sections of the boards, they're not very interesting to me.

This sort of thing, opting in and out of what you see on the homepage, has been on our radar for a while. I cannot promise anything in terms of timelines, but please know we hear you and have wanted to work on this feature for a while.

on the radar.... last info ive found so far was about 4 months ago to implement something of control, since then riot has released the lifetime upvote counter and it seems to have increased the amt of memes and games, gifs that are being posted.... as well as per thread now there are gifs and pics with "witty" one liners on them....

thats wonderful and all for the people who want them, more power to their creative endeavors...

but we dont all want them....all the time

how often can riot say they are looking at something, working on something, having something on the radar with no actual progress, or updates being given.... after half a year will we receive more info?

You do know how to go to sub-boards, right? And you can also change the filter to something other than hot (like new or recent) which is usually a better way to look at real/important issues anyway.

they are saying they want to see the "hot" category, but minus the memes. your solution doesn't fix the problem at all.

It'd be awesome if they could sort the boards by player rank too, see what the bronze are saying as opposed to the diamond, etc

All this would do is start everybody crying about whatever the bronze people posted. there would be so many "WELL YOU'RE BRONZE SO THAT'S WHY THIS SUCKS" posts, and every silver player would downvote it instantly.
it would just make the community worse. The only way I see this becoming a thing without it tearing low levels apart as if they are trash would be if they created a high rank board. Like maybe only let players of a certain rank post to it.. but not show their rank. That way you could look at the stuff the higher ranked people were saying, but it wouldn't necessarily create a place where people could go to laugh at bronzies.
