[POLL] I found a huge problem with the automatic post preview...

Honestly, the preview and the post itself look too similar, and are right next to each other. The text is the same color, and so is the inside bounds of the text. In longer posts (because the body and preview are doubled up, pages get long very quickly) it's easy to lose which one you're in, because both the preview and the body text have scroll bars. Compare this directly right here, and imagine how confusing this can get with really long roleplay posts where you're focusing intensely on what you've written.

This is now 3 times I've lost an entire, well-thought-out post by highlighting something in the preview box, and then backspacing to clear something. In Google Chrome, this navigates you to the previous web-page without saving any of your work.

All in all this could be fixed in literally 2 seconds by just changing the text color within the post body. Keeping the preview text brown is psychologically satisfying in a way, because then your preview looks much like your final post.

Nah, you didn't want to make an RP post anyway. Go watch some e-sports. Fizz

Yeah, until this is fixed, when a post gets to a certian length where I'd be scared of losing it, I copy it over to a libreoffice doc.

Added bonus on this topic - if you get confused and think the preview pane is the edit pane, and you want to erase a word by clicking on it and hitting backspace, you'll actually tell your browser to go back to the last page. When you come back to page you're on, you'll find your half-done post no longer exists in the edit page.

Much sad. Would recommend editing your post in an editor and then pasting it into the edit pane, which does rather defeat the point of the preview pane anyway.
