Ryze Kit is great; TU is still garbage

Rito, what have you done?

You took away his SCROLL'S precious runes, you took away his rich blue color, and you basically made him Edgey McEdgepants. Literally. Why change his color-scheme to bright, powdery blue and dark, gloomy black? It doesn't improve his sw@ggur rating.

I'm really excited for his new kit post-rework, but the TU won't let me sleep at night. Pls fix.

You wanna know why his runes are toned down? Because his new ultimate now causes them to glow. Even on the scroll.

The thing I'm really happy about is that they took the suggestion I and a few other people made about making his body tattoos/runes glow during his ult, now they glow bright purple/pink during it, instead of just being technicolored onto his skin like before the TU. I agree though, I would love for a bit lighter/more tan color for his pants, and a more shiny indigo blue for his skin like his splash art, the current powder blue is a bit bland.

yea great kit but an old 2009 model with 10 lines quotes... I would rather see his kit put aside for when he get a real visual update! Don't mix new things with old ones! Take example on those awesome 2014 visual update Heimerdinger Twitch Karthus Renekton Sion Maokai ...

He reminds me of sandpaper that's been rubbed really hard. He looks kinda smooth and almost feminine. The original being the sandpaper of course.

That isn't a TU, it's a Texture Rebalance. They were not done by the champion update team. That is not his Texture Update.

He's likely to get a whole VU. New model, texture, animations, even voice over, relatively short after his GU goes live, im sure.

Keep in mind that Ryze is still getting a visual update. What you see here is just a texture rebalance that changed his coloration a bit around. As far as i know he is up to get a tristana sized VU.
