[PSA] Can we stop with the Splash Arts and instead...
...get around to actually defining what each champion mean to us as a whole before we confuse Riot to shite?
Look S&A, Riot has already shown with Blood Moon Elise and Ahri's splash that they're genuinely trying to meet the community in the middle AT LEAST in the Skins and Champion Design departments. If we keep giving them conflicting information, they're going to give up.
And for good reason! Saying yes, then no, then yes then no again is a ridiculous game of cat-and-mouse that always ends in, "If there's always gonna be people that don't like it, then we can do what we want! :D"
As a community, let's try to start putting out some constructive, concise collections of...
- What each champion means to the over-all community,
- Why we feel this way,
- What we feel would be positive input going forward (at least for now - baby steps,)
- and sit down, really draft up some solid, well-thought-out doors our champions can walk though both in gameplay and lore.
It's obvious they're stumbling around in the dark trying to meet us somewhere. Even if they're blind as bats and have as much attention span as a haggard drunken idiot, we can't just let them hobble around if we want anything to get done. They're trying. We can work on teaching them to sober up and run with the torch laaater. Let's just decide on specific stuff as a community. That's what bumping and upvoting is for. There will be more room to tweak stuff later, but get on the ball before we miss our windows.
- TL;DR So, start "arguing." Start picking bones and challenge each other's head-cannons; let the gears in your head grind and gnash, and start coming to some conclusions to draft up a solid OP's that'll tell Riot what we want and why. If you leave it to the comments it might be missed. We can carry this torch no problem. ;) Riot can have it tomorrow after their hangover is gone.

- For better or worse, most of these champions have major character elements tied to the IoW, from Kayle's status as the Ace (She was everything from referee to bodyguard to spokeswoman on top of being the Judicator of the IoW -and- a champion) to Nautilus's quest for vengeance (The IoW's people are responsible for screwing him over big-time) to Fiddles existing at all. They're the ones who are really going to need definition, and in something of a hurry.
I've always found him interesting. He's a great character, he's really funny, and everyone likes him. Almost makes you forget he's a mass-murdering sociopath who killed his pets, his parents, his neighbors, and most people he came into contact with before he was even an adult. Mundo just likes to murder people, but his endearing mannerisms and memetic voiceover just make us forget that.
remains rather intelligent, despite his monstrous size(making him a bit similar to smaug sounds like a good idea),I'd say that Kayle is also a bit inconsistent in her characterisation(she was once said to be one of the goodest champs in the game, but she seems more lawful than good),ahri is depicted in her gameplay completely different than in her lore and then there is the question about how evil veigar truly is(is he just a wannabe, that will poke the poodle or is he a real threat?)
doesn't even look like a tank.
