Needs better profile page for community members.

So far the only thing the profile page is good for is to check on posts and comments a person has made. And it's really un-organized. Why can't it be somethign like what youtube has? You go to a person's profile page, and it's organized and lets you navigate to their posts and comment. Where there is a page meant entirely for for discussions with that person so you don't have to find one of their comments and reply to it just to say something to them. Also give a follow feature so you are automatically notified when they make a new post or comment on a post. I think this will allow people to communicate much more efficiantly, and help free up needlessly large amounts of comments on posts that have nothing to do with the posts themselves. Any thoughts on this?

Private (or in your case, simply direct) messaging/conversations and following posts/people have been requested before and have been met with a positive response. Following specifically I know is on the list to happen in some form or fashion. There have been a lot of changes to priority and direction with the Boards and upgrades to it over the last year so I can't tell you where it is on the list but I know it's there.

AFAIK, this is something the Boards team would like to implement.

Don't really have time to find the source, but it was in a discussion about avatars, if I remember correctly.
