Hi,
Any plans to make the Red Tracker/Riot icons...red? I know I'm being pedantic but it's a bit odd to me that the icons showing whether a red has posted in a thread are grey. :P
One additional thing, would making the entire border of Riot posts red instead of just the top line be too loud? If your screen is below the name of the Rioter you can't see any evidence that the post is by a Rioter whatsoever currently.
Riotmoltovcarrot2 votesI tried out red icons when I was designing that indicator, but it got overly busy and distracting when there was more than a couple on the page at a time. Same with the full red border.
Kira Onime3 votesWhy not simply making the contour of the fist red instead of black and keep everything else as is?
Daen1 votes^ This. I understand the business, but currently to me it just looks washed out. Even just a tiny little bit of color in the icon could go a long way, because aside from thread titles the forums are essentially shades of black and white currently.
Geekweezul1 votesHmmm...well testing it out (see image below), I don't think it's too loud at all. Does anyone else?

It does kind of put more weight on that side of the screen, but this is an extreme example. Outside of the announcements page, when would we ever see this many, or anything close to this many icons? In all honesty...reds don't post nearly as much as they used to. Unless you seriously think that will change, I don't think the red icons will have anything more than a pleasant aesthetic effect.
Also, the red color makes me want to click on the icon...the grey color - not so much. It's too blah.
Zyorhist1 votesActually i was thinking a light red shaded background would go nicely to emphasize the post.
