A Quick Solution to the Red Tracker Issue, and Prevention of another "GD Catastrophe"

#Red posts in GD don't appear in the Red tracker by default.

Now people like Riot SuperFoxMan can engage the community as much as they want, just chillin', without clogging up the red tracker (though, a Rioter who wants their post on GD to be included in the Red Tracker should have that option).

Meanwhile, for more "Serious Discussion" type posts, we have the rest of Boards, which people will continue to use because that's the best place to have in-depth gameplay discussions with Rioters, or people in general.

######By a "GD Catastrophe," I mean a situation in which people only post in GD, because that's the only place where you can get attention.

P.S. There should probably be an option in the Red tracker to include Rioter posts in GD, for the few people who just want to read everything said by a rioter, ever.

My personal opinion is that all Red Tracker issues can be solved by allowing players to individually customize it and being able to sort based on importance.

You want to see GD posts? Go ahead and click that setting. How about only things in certain boards? Set that up for yourself. Want to ignore random comments that don't speak deeply about topics? Disallow casual posts from appearing.

As for the GD catastrophe thing, I think that will mostly come down to Riot policy. Personally, I don't think that important topics should ever be created in GD. This might be unpopular, but think about it. GD was brought over to preserve a community; that's fine, but it's very easy to go back down that road of "I'm going to post in GD for visibility".

how about grouping all red posts from a single thread into a single link?

things lik this are likely to come soon. they had to focus a ton on just getting the new boards up and running and transferring everything over smoothly. these boards make it possible to create options and groupings like which have been brought up in the past and will be brought up in the future. The fact that it is possible to do things like this is a major step forward compared to the old forums.
