Seriously. I want someone to read my post before they downvote it based on what they think of the title. This feature kills off a lot of good threads, because all it takes is one moron to downvote a new thread to "0" and it's instantly buried, regardless of what's in the post.
You can read most threads just by mousing over the title, with no need to click on it. I think what you're really upset about is that people didn't agree with something you said. Threads also don't just disappear that easily. Maybe you should browse by "New" instead of "Hot".
I was able to read your entire post and realize I disagree with it from the home page. Why should I need to come into the post just to click the down vote without reading anything else?
Downvoted cus no. Like someone said, you can mouse over to preview content. Ain't nobody got time for that.
Why should i give someone views when I already know I disagree with what they're saying?
If somebody downvotes your thread in that manner, assuming they are the first person to bring it in the negatives in this way and then it stays negative, then your thread clearly deserves being buried
