[Idea] Featured Community Posts

So we have pinned posts that are posted for the benefit if popular topics and introductory stuff, a sort of 'start here' area.

But what about very popular or useful posts given by the community that have an extended 'useful life'? Pinning these would produce clutter across the sub-community page and front page. So what if we had a separate box (replacing Guidelines maybe?) that have posts chosen by Rioters that could possibly....

• be a good representation of what the sub-comm is meant to have
• be an awesome topic, work or in the case of Fan Creations amazing work of art
• currently have a great discussion happening
• needs feedback and community participation
• be a cool [update] or [news] post that could be useful to read.

The 'hot' ordering does it's job but most of the discussion that will top it will be temporary discussions or FotM topics that will still be awesome to have at the moment but will drop in relevancy as it slides down the list. There are broader topics that deal with possibly long standing issues however that may be useful to 'pin' but not enough to warrant be putting alongside, say, a Patch Forecast.

'Best' just isn't working right now, as the x-posts from GD have made the ceiling of that list ridiculous for the currently small community.
