Everytime I see a red post, there's always that one person who wonders why they are posting in a joke thread but not in a more serious one. Riot then has to explain how not all posters have the same position. Wouldn't it be easier if each Rioter had a tag explaining what their position is?
They used to, on the old forums. They should really bring that back
If you hover over a Rioter's name on their post, it will show his/her title.
As far as general differentiation is concerned, this has actually been brought up multiple times with pretty significant community support. The Boards team seems to want all Rioters to be as visually indistinct as possible, and actually removed unique Rioter avatars in the transition from the forums to the Boards.
