Today's situation during the kalista Q&A

So what happened today? Was it just an overwhelming amount of interest in kalista?(congrats if it was) too much traffic to just one thread instead of the usual three? or was it just some problems in the backend not related to kalista? Pretty much just talking out my *** regarding this but i am pretty interested in what happened.
