Forums are awesome for discussion. Reddit is awesome for OPs

Let get this clear, Riot. A forum is a well developed platform where high content posts are able to be easily read, in chronological order to promote high quality discussion.

This abomination of nested, branching, achronological replying means you have stopped caring about the discussion? Why? Cos it is now impossible to follow. The only important post is the OPs, because that is the only one which is certain to be seen in full.

Whats more, a recent reply to a old comment will not raise the comment or the reply, meaning that it's impossible to make a meaningful reply to older content. Consider discussion threads started by Xelnath, which clock in at 200 pages and you see that this new platform simply cannot host what you want it to.

This entire platform, and reddit itself is a linkbait popularity contest. The best OPs get upvoted, and thus, erase vision of other topics. When the majority of OP are simply links out, it drives your browsers away from your new platform.

Finally, this entire thing is an exercise in redudancy. There is already r/leagueofledgends for those who like this format and the linkbait style of content it creates, but if you dare replace our forums with it, then you audience's contribution will markedly fall in content.

Riot's counter-argument: "You can sort it by Best/Most Recent"

That gets nothing done STILL.

This is basically a "Hey, you wrote something bout Wukong? DUCKIN SICKS LOLOLOLOL +1000" and meaningful responses don't get noticed.

They weren't planning on replacing the forum last I'd read.
