You want this to have strong discussion like the forums do, yet you have a nesting limit.

Are your designers completely out of touch with what a discussion actually is? It's a series of nested replies which may continue FAR beyond your pitiful limit.

If you're going to enforce this non navigatible tree structure, at least let us create arbitrary levels of nesting, or admit simple linear discussions and trackbacks are superior.
