Yeah SAM, not gonna lie, I'm at the point of abandoning the boards. The last 2 threads and ten comments I made that weren't memes got buried because I dared to disagree with the hive mind. Same shit kept me away from the Hearthstone forums. I came here to have a CONVERSATION about game mechanics. Instead I get called a troll or a bronze scrub by a Silver V player with a chip on their shoulder and a major superiority complex because I said something that the Boards hive mind disagrees with.
A staple feature of my comments (especially recently) is pointing out the hypocrisy and backpedaling the circlejerk of the boards is capable of, but I'll give credit where credit is due and say that the early adopters of the boards called out this reddit style upvoting nonsense into question as a repeat of the just cancerous meme infested Facebook page of League. And lo and behold, we were right. Over the past 2 months, the amount of meme posts on the front page have doubled, and perhaps tripled. The variation between upvoted posts has gone from different every week to the same content worded differently by the different members of the boards with the same hive mind. It's disgusting really. It's especially sad when awesome forum goers like SAM and YordleBait make really awesome posts about lore and game mechanics, only to be drowned out by:

- CRIT IS BROKEN AND RITO IS STUPID FOR KEEPING IT!!!1!

Honestly Riot, it's time to go back. These boards have been a dismal failure from the beginning, and what was originally a mild inconvenience has turned into a cesspool of toxicity and shitposting.
