Froum Mods are just deleting and not thinking

Angry Monster··1 votes·444 views

So in the last hour i have had over 5 post removed. While they are direct and cotroversal they should not of been deleted.

Just cause i do not agree with a thread and post my POV does not mean i am being a jerk. I am calling people out on their own written behavior.

I am calling on pendaragon to address this. I am willing to state why I typed what i did. But reading what I wrote showed my thoughts.

Feel free to show us what you typed, I'd be interested to know what seems unreasonable about this situation.

Keep in mind, by the way, that it's also possible your posts were downvoted into deletion. I think I know a thread to which you are referring, and judging by some of your other responses there you were being pretty inflammatory.

Just cause i do not agree with a thread and post my POV does not mean i am being a jerk.

I'm going to pull a couple of comments from some of your posts that weren't deleted; I hope that's OK.

  • I am sorry that their out dated system did not grow fast enough for you whinny EU kids. (not really sry).
  • Also if you think riot only is gathering data from the NA forums you are retarded.

While these comments aren't necessarily removable on their own, it's a relatively clear indication of why your other post on that thread was deleted.

I just went and looked through your profile, a lot of your comments include pointed insults at other Boards users. Might I suggest not doing that, it's more likely for your posts to not be removed.

I would love to copy paste everything but riot system is not allowing it. If you know a trick to get it, i am all ears.

I was calling out the whinny kids. They were crying cause they felt that they were being ignored. When they did not even try. They decided to cry and sob instead of try to contribute in another way. People like that do not get my respect. This is a handout mentality.

The tone behind this comment exemplifies why your other posts were deleted pretty well. "Calling out the whiny kids" is not conducive to a forum environment, and it directly violates the "don't be a jerk" rule.

So when did it become ok to cry and whine? What happened to humanity that allowed babies to moan and bitch cause they can? When people make stupid comments they should be shut down. This care bear attitude is stupid.

No being a jerk is saying that i hope a bus hits you. Or talking about your family members.

If being a jerk is the inability to call people out on their threads i am done with Riot boards. At some point the whiners need to be put in check.

I should NOT be able to threaten harm to a person(and i did not do). I should be able to make logical statement with minor hyperbole. Everyone in that thread was way off base and crying a shit storm talking about their feelings. Fuck their feelings, logically their was reasons why this rioter did not want to use the Beta forums.

It's not about whether it's OK to whine, it's about whether the community generally doesn't approve of negativity. This is pretty obvious with the chat logs and discussions in which Lyte participates on General Discussion. Players that receive these warnings and punishments feel their actions are justified, but the vast majority of the community does not agree.

It's fine to call people out, but it has to be in a way that isn't just a blatant insult. Here's an example:

"Stop whining you retard"

vs

"Keep in mind, this thing you are complaining about is a bit unreasonable"

They are both saying roughly the same thing, but the second is far more constructive.

Please my post where i called someone a troll got deleted the same night in another thread. it is short so i will re type it

i said

Cause trolls like you would know when they are starting to getting trouble and stop for a couple of weeks.

I said this to yousmart or what ever the idiots name is. He has openly admitted that his other accounts have been banned before. Calling him a troll is pretty fair considering what most of his posts are.

When did calling someone a troll become being a jerk?

Depending on what you mean by "calling people out," that might also be against the rules.

Bad job copying a text box that is completely out of context. That was a spinet out of a 5 paragraph quote. (golf clap).

if you know how to copy the original msg from riot let me know and I will post my full posts. As far as i can tell riot has blocked this ability. (probably to keep people from showing their bias.) I have also sent a ticket in and waiting on their support system( we all know how slow that is.)

BAD rules then. Why are threads that are made calling out Riot members not being deleted? That is against the rules.

You could also say the original thread was of low quality and people were being jerks posting what they were saying about how riot was being unfair.

Being a jerk is subjective. Those people were being ass hats and cry and patting them selves on their own back. Instead of tying of extending the conversation to beta boards they were only bitching about how they were excluded.

They were crying and refusing even try. This helpless mentality is disgusting. Riot should do it part and curb protecting this type of behavior.
