[Idea] Increased visibility on the "Recent" option in comments

So with the latest shenanigans coming from Ironstylus' post and the feedback about the Beta that has stemmed from it, I've noticed one of the larger (not the only, but a large one) problems is people's fear of comments getting buried underneath popular opinions. And yes this is a legitimate concern for people who regularly find themselves on the side of an unpopular opinion. I do want to point out however Everyone has the option to adjust comment ordering to RECENT, creating a chronological order instead of a popular order exactly like GD comments. Now this option is not easy to notice for the majority of GD "one-thread hit and runs" who feel this Beta isn't worth their time. And there are still problems with the Beta don't get me wrong, but this is a problem that literally already fixed but needs to have light shown on it.

Could we just try out making 'Recent' the initial default ordering for comments for a day or two and see if regular Beta goers like it? I feel this would be the quickest and easiest way to shed light to the already established mechanic.
