A Boards problem (With solution included)
I think i am alone when i say this, but i think most boards posts always lean a certain direction when they are first posted. What i mean by this is at least to the few ive asked, whether or not a person likes or dislikes a boards post, is based on whether or not the post got upvotes or downvotes. For example, If there there to be a post titled "Gragas needs a buff" and let's just say for examples sake that gragas really did need a buff, if 2-3 people downvote that post then other people will be inclined to do so also.
My solution to this was a loading system. When board posts are first posted, they should not reveal upvotes or downvotes. Instead, upvotes and downvotes should be refreshed every 10-20 minutes. OR, the post will not show upvotes or downvotes until the individual has done so, similar to a poll This will encourage individuals to present their actual opinion on a topic, rather than being swayed by the results of the topic already.
Few people are effected by this effect (I forgot the name) where their opinions are strongly sided with those of other people, and for those people this implementation would be great.
Welp, thanks for viewing the post, let me know what you think in the reply section, have a great day/night!
