Using an IPad

I'm using an iPad to post, comment, and browse around the boards beta. Already, I've noticed two off things. There is no way for me to know if boards I created have been commented on as there is no form of notification unless I go back and visit the board it will tell me the number of comments on it. Also, I am unable to read any comments that people give unless I click the quote option and it quotes their comment into my own. If there are obvious things that I am missing about the boards, please let me know.
