Am i the only person this is Happening to? seriously i just wrote a REALLY Long post about why i Joined the Game in the first place. I did the correcting and everything and it didnt post.... why? because out of nowhere the Board location changed and it's always to EUW.
Sir ArmaMalum2 votesI've heard of this issue happening to others but I myself have never had this happen. Do you have EUW account you occasionally use? (Still a bug either way, but I'm curious on why it only affects some)
Also, sympathies on the long post, I've gone through that too. Really kills the mood. My best advice is to copy is to type it up on something like Google Drive, Word or other and then throw it onto a post later if you're planning on a decently long post. Obviously this doesn't help you out right now though, sorry.
Dr Clueless PhD1 votesThat can happen if you are signed in on multiple tabs (to multiple regions). The login is universal, so your first tab tries to switch over to EU when you go there in the second tab. So, when the page changes or refreshes, it borks.

Hyrum Graff1 votesYou don't actually need to be signed on at all. If you open a tab to the EUW bulletin forums, it'll change your boards region to euw.

Back when we only had the old forums, you wanted your location to change when you visited a different region. Imagine if you went to the old EUW forums but you stayed on your NA account, and you couldn't post even though you had a EUW account, because you were stuck on your NA account. It would be... about as frustrating as the issue is right now. And it didn't matter that you changed region, because when you went back to the old NA forums, it would change you right back.
But now that it's possible to post to NA boards from different regions, this behavior is bad for users.
tl;dr, it was coded that way on purpose because that was a feature we wanted. Now it's a feature we don't want.
It's still around because the entire leagueoflegends.com uses the same login system, so it takes a little more effort to change than you'd think. Lots of work + more pressing issues = not a priority.
Pandemic Punch1 votesI have 1 NA account across the board. I don't use any proxy servers. This still happens to me sometimes. Rare, but it happens. The first time it happened, I freaked out because it would not let me login to the boards. It may have taken me 40 minutes to accidentally scroll up and accidentally notice the EUW at the top of the screen O_O
