Rioter Titles in Boards

Hi,

So as we know, when Rioters post on the Boards they don't have their unique GD icon nor is their position in the company immediately displayed (yes I know, there's mouseover text for it). In the Red Tracker, where you can see Rioter posts on both GD and the Boards, this is the difference between a post made on GD (top) and a post made on the Boards (bottom).

Is it possible for this to be how Rioters are displayed when they post on the Boards as well? It looks much cleaner and is completely unique. IronStylus actually looks like...IronStylus when he posts on General Discussion, but he looks rather un-birdlike when he posts on the Boards!

TL:DR - Rioters lose a lot of their identity when posting on the Boards that they have on the current (non-beta) forums.

I agree to some extent, though these boards' features with the nice Red Tracker in the left sidebar and the clear in-context design (http://puu.sh/aluk1/f053357bc3.png) help me have less issues tracking down their posts. But yes, it was so cute being able to see the unique portraits that each Rioter picked for themselves!

We're going to have some internal conversations about this soon and we should be able to have a stronger opinion in a few weeks one way or another. It's not technically difficult to do some of this it's a bigger question and there are strong arguments for and against special visual treatment for Rioters

To add my two and a half cents:

Having a clear indication next to the Rioter about what role he or she plays at Riot in relation to League does help for clarity. Too often Rioters who visit a thread get asked questions about League aspects they are not involved with. That was the case on GD (where the Rioter's role is indicated), and will get even worse when their role is not clearly visible in the Boards. The mouse-over is nice, but not directly visible.

As a player/forum poster I generally like knowing what department a given Rioter is part of, in case I think of specific questions that may be close to what the Rioter works on.
