These boards are Windows 8.

  • 90% the same.
  • Takes only a small amount of practice to learn how to use them.

But tons of people just don't wanna.

And Riot will make a few changes and people will fawn all over them, just like Windows 10.

Are you insinuating that the Boards is trying to appeal to the wrong audience (the mobile market) and thus lost a lot of functionality and usability that was present in the previous version but was dropped to be better for said audience? Windows 8 was not a successful launch, and it's not just because people dislike change. Windows 8 was a step in the wrong direction, pure and simple.

Is that the comparison you are trying to make?

It's not the same.

It isn't the same at all, Hyrum.

No one is talking about windows 10. when windows 9 hasn't even come out yet.

I agree with the premise of the post, although I disagree with the windows 8 thing.

The way things look visually is a big deal to people. People will be complaining about Boards being reddit 2.0 for as long as that number and those arrows are next to every post, even though when you're using "Recently Replied" viewing, the behavior is identical to GD. It's just the way we are.
