When can I fix a discussion title?

Just wanted to specifically ask this, is there any work being done on the option to edit our discussion titles after the fact? To be completely honest I ask largely because I have champ concept discussion up with some wonderfully helpful comments but I spelled 'Nemesis' wrong on-post and I feel like a bit of an idiot every time I open it up to edit/add. I know a small number of people that would also like to see this implemented. No rush though, just want to know if it's being looked at. :D

We are definitely talking about it. We don't want to allow permanent editing of titles due to the potential for confusion / abuse, but we will likely allow for a small window of time after you post a discussion to be able to fix typos and such.

Awesome! Thanks for the reply! And yeah I do see the easy potential for subject change and abuse thereof. Great to hear its in the works, albeit early. Will the option to change the title be available for a short time for posts that are up currently?

I wouldn't hold your breath on grandfathering in old discussions. It just wouldn't make much sense, since the time window we offer to edit posts will probably be in the scale of minutes, rather than hours or days.

Also, it would probably be a waste of resources to try and engineer (and communicate) the edit window for all existing discussion titles, just for a one time legacy fix.
