Okay... we are reporting this BoRK hack, and the board mods say it's "witch hunting" to post proof?

We're aware of the issue and actively working on a solution. Anyone who uses the exploit will certainly be punished appropriately.

Generally in that situation - additional reports do nothing to increase our awareness or improve our ability or desire to address it as quickly as possible, so at this point more than anything you're just raising awareness to more folks who might want to try it.

The other thing to note that "proof" in the sense of calling out an individual is certainly witch-hunting. We have technological means to identify and verify people who are doing this.

Not mentioning such a major issue that will clearly blow up and have large scale mention of it on the forums, Reddit, and other media sites won't measurably decrease awareness, either.

Look I'm against calling people out as much as the next guy... but the term "witch hunting" implies that there is no substance to the claims.

For curiosity's sake, are you actively punishing the people I've seen that duo queue with these accounts as well? All of the Riot posts I've seen state that they will punish the people using the exploit (as a permaban), but I have not seen it directly expressed that the people duoing with those accounts will also get permabanned or stripped of rewards.

Are you guys tracking everyone these accounts duo with and punishing them if they duo more than once with the offending accounts? (Someone who duoed once could claim that they didn't know their "friend" or acquaintance would use the cheat in one game, but I think if they duoed with them any other times after that they would be knowingly complicit in using the hack to gain an advantage)

at this point and time i'd like to thank riot for having the most useless members working for them and say goodbye to league of legends...because i refuse to play this game when you people aren't doing anything to fix the situation....i said it when u guys hired him ghost crawler ruined wow and now hes ruining LoL....funny how since he left wow to work for league wow has started to be good again and league has had nothing but troubles since his arrival....i will say this though i swear if my post is deleted or my account is banned i'm going to be having to speak to the owners for a lawsuit because i want this post to make the players aware of the bs that has started and when it started.........good day to you and to the loyal players i guess ill see u all on wow csgo or smite since this game in my eyes is gonna be dead within a month . what is that all about? what we didn't follow your terms and agreements when we called you out for having a fualty system?

It's like if someone you know does [insert non-socially acceptable thing here], and you run an article in the newspaper about it. You then say you were simply raising awareness that there are people who do [insert previous thing here]. Even if that thing is harmful, it's pretty rude to call people out on it in public.

That isn't witch hunting, that's making the authorities and general public know about extremely illegal activity. If they're gonna stop people from doing it, they shouldn't name it after something in real life that was just killing innocents, because this is the opposite of that.

If the videos you're linking show specific players, then you are going on a witch hunt, whether you're trying to, or not. I'm sure Riot knows about the hack and is working on a fix. Moderating your content doesn't mean they're supporting hackers.

I'm not terribly sure what to believe. Riot seems too concerned with laying the smackdown on people who don't say anything in chat, but still get chat penalties, to worry about people who hack games and cause legitimate issues.

Well. To stop one of the exploits while working on a fix, they'd have to disable every active item in the game. Which would cripple a lot of roles and champions.
