Scroll Down! Look at all these Threads!

And notice that Riot employees almost never respond to non-Riot threads! Didn't they promise us with the new forums would come more Riot interaction? I call BS.

  1. We complain about the TT turret bug - They ignore us
  2. We complain about East Coast Ping - They ignore us
  3. We just want to ask a simple question - They ignore us
  4. Someone writes an "awww" post of a kid dying but loved league; suddenly a Red posts.

Let's not forget the have plenty of time to DELETE your thread no matter how long it took you to write just because it was in the "wrong section".

Like I have said many times. Riot has a winner here with League. It is an addicting and fun game. The employees seem very cool. They are constantly improving the game and adding new features. But their customer service SUCKS.

Honestly, all we need is a simple message of: "We're aware of the problem, and we are actively addressing it. These things take time because we need to ensure the changes we make aren't further breaking things. Will update as progress is made."

This is better than ignoring.

Agree on all points. To be fair Reds to comment on some active balancing discussions but that is about it.

While I agree with the general premise, reality kind of disagrees with your specific points.

Someone writes an "awww" post of a kid dying but loved league; suddenly a Red posts.

This is something to which any Rioter can relate (unless they are evil people), and isn't a risky topic. Posting on something about east coast ping is very risky, and there are only a few people in the entire company that are informed enough about the topic to even approach it. It's less about them ignoring us, more about them being a little too conservative with their approach towards which threads are acceptable to be addressed by certain people.

Let's not forget the have plenty of time to DELETE your thread no matter how long it took you to write just because it was in the "wrong section".

While I agree that complete deletion for being in the wrong place is not a good decision, the argument of "put it in the right place then" does come up. Also, the people that deal with deletion aren't even in the same department as those talking about east coast ping or bug fixes. Hell, they aren't even Rioters.

OP doesn't seem to grasp the concept that not every Rioter deals with bugs, server issues or knows the answers to their questions.

Also I'm pretty sure they aren't allowed to just make claims and statements individually without getting some sort of approval first.

If one Rioter posts that they think maybe we are getting east coast servers soon, then people will 100% hold ALL OF RIOT to that statement, and 4 months later people will be screaming about how "RIOT SAID EAST COAST SERVERS WERE COMING!!! WHERE ARE THEY?!?!" all because one employee thought maybe it was happening.

That's why Riot has to stay quiet on a lot of things... because as a big company, one single employee does not have the ability to make any firm statements regarding anything that doesn't 100% relate to their position.

It makes total sense but of course you want to look at it irrationally.
